This place is closed. I arrived and no one answered for half an hour, or answered my messages on booking.com, or answered the phone. I asked the riad next door, and they said it is closed, and they often get people asking if they can call them. They don't understand why booking lets people book this place. I even got a welcome message when I booked asking me if i wanted an airport transfer.

The Riad was not open and there was no named signage outside According to locals, this isn’t a genuine Riad and known to be a scam

Mr. Fawzy is a super host and a very pleasant person. It is like you are staying with family. He came to pick us up from the airport. The apartment is quite big compare to other Riads in Marrakech. It is comfortable and has everything you need. It has a kitchen although going out for lunch or dinner is very inexpensive. The breakfast provided by Mr. Fawzy is delicious and has a lot of choice. The location is excellent. Near Bahia Palace, pick-up location for excursions and Jemaa el-Fnaa. All within walking distance. Next time without any hesitation we will stay again at Riad Almarkab. Thank you Mr. Fawzy for making our stay unforgettable.

I really loved the property so well decorated and several different floors and such lovely stained glass windows I would of loved to of stayed longer if there was more availability, the home owner was such a lovely man very kind and caring he even gave me a lift the following morning to where I had to go and did everything possible to help me he had everything you would need and the breakfast was also amazing there was far to much food i couldn’t eat it all and there was so much variety on what to eat.

“10/10 experience - room, breakfast and host”
Fawsys home exceeded our expectations. He is an incredible host! The room is much larger than the photos look and the terrace is incredible. Breakfast each morning was phenomenal! We also booked an airport shuttle with Fawsy which made our experience in Marrakesh effortless. DEFINITELY STAY HERE.

“Spacious delight”
The host was very responsive welcoming and friendly, he went out of his way to help me with my luggage and everything else I needed. The place has 2 beds (one a double) tv, kitchen and private bathroom. The decorations are amazing and the roof terrace (if you are ok with steep stairs) is an amazing added bonus. I'm almost afraid to rate it a 10, because I want it always to be available for my stays! I will be back!
