The hospitality was truly exceptional from start to finish. Every staff member, from the front desk team to the staff who escorted us to and from our room, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. They made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The atmosphere was peaceful, the camp was beautiful, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We were also able to celebrate our 5th anniversary here, which made our stay even more special and truly memorable

“Luxury Atmosphere, But Not Quite a Luxury Experience”
Overall, we had a good stay at Agafay Luxury Camp. The tents themselves were beautiful, comfortable and very well designed, and the transfer service was excellent and very smooth from start to finish. What we liked: * The tents are spacious, stylish and surprisingly comfortable. * The desert setting is beautiful and makes for a very unique experience. * Transportation was extremely well organized. * Breakfast buffet was decent and good enough for one night.

Excellent facilities on site, pool was really nice and great seating in and out of the sun. Service at the pool bar was good, Adam our server for the two days was really friendly. Had great English was funny whilst sorting us out for everything we needed. Had a lovely Moroccan meal in the evening with great service from Mohammad. Our room was on the edge of the layout so it was super private and we made use of the outdoor bath. Again super friendly front desk staff! Also we had a massage which I would describe as the best one I’ve had from Hannah

“A novelty stay in the desert, with gorgeous surroundings. good for one/ two nights but not quite Luxury.”
The views were stunning and the bed was comfortable and room clean, plus the bathtub outside was good fun as well.

“Beautiful & Relaxing Location”
Stunning location, beautiful rooms which were large and have everything you need - fridge, water, coffee, safe, hair dryer, and robes. The balcony was gorgeous and felt secluded. Staff were friendly, entertainment in the evening was fun, and they were able to book activities (quad biking) quickly.

“Very poor and not luxury”
Most of the staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, just didn't do a great job of being helpful. The site could be really nice, however there are lots of improvements that are required to justify anywhere close to what we paid for it.

Overall nice place. Restaurant OK, food OK, but not great, in particular compared to the price level. The prices indicate 5* but you are not getting more than 4*.

“Not Luxurious At All”
We were really looking forward to our stay at Agafay Luxury Camp, but sadly it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. There is nothing “luxury” about this camp, and the way it is portrayed on their website and social media is simply not reflective of the reality. The images suggest a high-end, beautifully maintained retreat — what we found instead was a site that feels tired and neglected. The buildings appear to be crumbling in places, and the swimming pool was green and clearly not usable during our stay. This was particularly disappointing as the pool is heavily featured in their promotional material and was one of the reasons we chose to book. The restaurant furniture is worn and tatty, which further detracts from the supposed luxury atmosphere. The site also smelled strongly of sewage, including in the bathrooms, which made it very difficult to relax or feel comfortable. When we checked into our tent, it was very windy and we quickly discovered that it had not been properly constructed or secured. Throughout the night there were loud bangs of metal clanging together, which meant we got very little sleep. It was far from the peaceful desert escape we had anticipated. Breakfast was also disappointing, with no real choice of food offered. Service was another letdown. Compared to the genuinely warm and attentive hospitality we experienced elsewhere in the city, the staff here were not particularly friendly or accommodating. At times, it felt as though we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. On top of this, the price of drinks was astronomical. I completely understand that being in a more remote location means prices may be higher, and we expected that — however, the charges were disproportionately high. I wasn’t even able to order a glass of wine with my meal because wine was only sold by the bottle, which felt unreasonable given the already premium pricing. To make matters worse, we both ended up with food poisoning and left early.

“Amazing stay”
The staff are super friendly, Adoub (sorry if I get his name incorrectly) is especially very helpful and informative. We love our room, the view is spectacular. It’s still a bit cold to swim for us but we’re very chill by the pool. Highly recommend to stay here.
