“It was merely a house in the basement.”
Facility did not live up to its commitment. I was given a timeframe for which garden and all other amenities can be used. This is not written in the facility information. Owner blamed booking.com for this less than adequate service and was not willing to accommodate my request. He claims that I was informed about this. Although this is correct, it was only after I completed a non-refundable booking which is not acceptable because of obvious reasons. He also claims that this information is written under "Important Information". This is not correct and even as of today, he has not fixed this. I have reported this to the customer service to edit facility information asap so that traveler do not experience what I have experienced. As a side comment, I noticed that the bottle opener was broken and he promised to replace it in the second day. No surprise, he also did not follow up on this one.
