Everything from the accommodation to the wildlife. Frank was knowledgeable about the wildlife and surroundings and offered a lot of useful advice.

“Absolute perfection!”

Absolute perfection! We stayed for five nights and loved it. The cottage is clean and has everything you need, including a Braai and a small plunge pool. Frank is a brilliant host and provided us with lots of helpful information before we arrived and while we were there. Our best bit of advice is not to stay here for just a couple of nights as you'll miss so much. We enjoyed a couple of days just sitting out on the patio watching (and feeding) the amazing wildlife, including Kudu, Impala, the cutest Warthog family, Zebra and Mongoose. Take time to just be with nature - you won't regret it!

The hospitality of Frank is fantastic always willing to offer advise and being next door is great so quick to message. The braai and stoep were cleaned every days. Feeding the animals that come close to the house is also a win

“Kruger KayaLakho - our home in Marloth Park!”

Frank and Roberta were the most amazing hosts anyone could ask for. We had the absolute best time. Frank spend lots of time sharing his wealth of knowledge of Marloth Park, Kruger Park and ofcourse all the beautiful animals that continously visited us. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and clean. Everything advertised was available. We had the pleasure of interacting with Zebras, Kudus, Wilderbees, Warthogs, Impalas, Bushbuck, Fruit bats, Blue Monkeys and Bush babies. All this right on the porch of our cosy chalet, while enjoying good conversations and braai. We were lucky enough to also see a giraffe walking by. Frank would also update us on animal sightings at the Crocodile River which is a mere 5min drive, we were able to see a pride of Lion's resting under the trees on the opposite side of the river. When I return to visit Marloth Park again, I will immediately seek accommodation with Frank at Kruger KayaLakho!

Frank was a fantastic host… Very knowledgeable, friendly and informative. The animal interaction was incredible (zebra, kudu and bushbucks) but please keep in mind that there is no guarantee of feeding/seeing animals. The studio was warm and cozy - good for a couple. Location great for walks/hikes around the river and is close to some really good restaurants. Try The Giraffe Pub for a delicious homemade chicken and mushroom pie and for the sushi (yes, sushi!).

The owners are very friendly and helpful. The place is just great for two people and the animals that come up to the stoep are amazing. Will definitely visit again

Even though the cottage is attached to the main house, it is extremely private. You don’t see or hear the owners. Own entrance, own patio, own pool, own view. Animals come right up to you so pack them snacks.

Location is great, near the river and shops! Braai are is lovely! Extremely comfortable bed! Wildlife on your doorstep! Frank and his wife were both so lovely, made us feel at home and comfortable and did everything they could for us :)
