“Lovely quiet getaway.”
Lovely place for a quiet getaway. Well furnished and comfortable. We had daily visits from the wildlife including giraffe and Kudu. Our host Jose was very helpful. Highly recommend.

Extremely friendly hosts, the small things matter, they have tea and coffee for your first night so you don't have to dash to the shops, cozy and modern, good wifi. Aircons are a plus, didn't use the pool but it's deeper than your standard splash pools in most accomadation in marloth park I've stayed at, , solar backup (not that we needed it). Hosts supplied potjie pot on request. Hosts are truely fantastic and respond quick, will recommend them

Locust Retreat offers a lovely stay. It is very neat, clean and modern. The host is very friendly and helpful. The visiting animals were a huge treat to us and especially our kids. Will definitely recommend.

“Restful time away from the city is just what we needed and the kids had such fun.”
The animals came right up to the door step. Load shedding did not affect our stay as there was an inverter. Air conditioning in both bedrooms which was such a pleasure. Very friendly host,I would come again 😁

Quality linen and towels even dishcloths .comfortable beds..good security on windows and entrance as well as electronic security system..very quiet aircon system in bedrooms..braai and pool cleaned every day..very nice outdoor furniture and seating area..host Jose friendly and quick to sort out queries and share animal sightings .nice view of bush, even with Olifants Rd nearby which is quite busy, we saw and fed a variety of animals,

“Perfect Getaway!”
The location was great, with regular visits from the free roaming animals :) The kitchen is very well equipped with all amenities supplied. Great quality pillows and towels, and awesome shower. Great water pressure and plenty hot water. The outside BBQ area and pool were an added bonus. We had an awesome visit!
