We enjoyed a two night stay here and really appreciated the friendliness of the owners/managers. The guest house is charming and in the middle of a small village. The parking places are very near to the guesthouse (and free). There is a great restaurant (Anno 1348) a few minutes' walk away, and the dinner on offer there was excellent. This is a great location to go to places like the Eagle's Nest and the saltmines. A good base to explore the area.

The view from the balcony was magical. Strolling around the small town was very relaxing after travelling and staying mostly in cities for some time. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy, family-run hotel. The location is excellent and the views are truly stunning. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and very tasty. The team was genuinely friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Our room felt comfortable and homely. There’s a great restaurant nearby, which made dinner plans easy and enjoyable.

“A true gem”
Everything. The owners are great and friendly. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. We had the smallest room, but it was perfect for our 3 days. The location was great, and the breakfast was amazing. I totally recommend you take the breakfast, and they have an expresso machine....do I need i need to say more! The place was beyond our expectations. I can saying it, but the place was amazing clean. The eating area was bright, beautiful view of the alps, and the food was amazing. I found eveything withing 10-30 min. I'll add some photo later. If you have any questions about this place, let me know.

“Nice place to stay”
We loved how clean it was, we had the room clean every day and the breakfast has what you need. Very nice staff and we totally recomand. Also parking is a plus.

“Pleasant stay in Berchtesgaden area.”
The little town of Marktschellenberg was lovely, and much quieter than staying in Berchtesgaden, which is only a 10 minute drive away. Great position of the accommodation as it was in the main square with free parking right in front. Our room on the top floor was very clean and comfortable. Nice bed with doonas. There was a table with 2 chairs which was very useful. The bathroom had a good sized shower and great hot water. The hosts were very friendly and communication was good. We would recommend this accomodation. Great bakery very close by.

“Well maintained and spacious room!”
The double room with balcony was spacious with a great balcony with chairs and a beautiful view of the mountains and the church tower next door. The room was very clean and well maintained, water pressure in shower was strong and the beds were comfortable.

“Lovely visit in extremely beautiful South Germany.”
Very friendly staff. The room was clean and there was an own balcony and a beautiful view to the mountains. It's easy to get around by bus, the bus stop is right near the hotel. Basic breakfast.
