““Clean and well located, but far from comfortable””
We are full Genius members and, despite staying in many Booking.com properties, we have never once left a review. The fact that we are doing so now should speak volumes. Yes, the property was clean and well placed for visiting the “Eagle’s Nest,” and the bedrooms themselves were acceptable. Our score is deliberately generous so that this review is seen. It reflects the fact that the property can just about serve as a one-night stop for two people. For anything longer, or for more than two guests, our true rating would be far far lower.

Spacious, very warm, clean apartment with excellent facilities and comfortable beds. Welcome retreat due to 3 days of solid rain during our stay! Easy access to Berchtesgaden for hiking and exploring the national park.

“Lovely Rural Bavarian Chalet”
Lovely holiday apartment, very comfortable and well-furnished and equipped, in a typically Bavarian chalet house rurally located on a singletrack road away from, but close to, the main road from Berchtesgaden to Salzburg. Friendly helpful hosts who live in the property. Own entrance, small balcony. Ideal for walkers with the Almbachklamm beauty spot close by and bus stop serving Berchtesgaden and Salzberg about 30 minutes walk from the accommodation. Local shops and restaurants 10-15 mins by car. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite some inclement weather!
