“Stay here it's great”
What a wonderful place with such amazing staff. The owner was lovely gave us a smashing breakfast basket put milk water ect in the fridge for when we arrived. Waved and smiled when we were out and about a d saw us. Gave us a list of local places of interest. Lovely white linen and towels. Nothing was too much trouble.

“A charming, friendly and cozy experience.”
The hostess was incredibly kind and friendly, we really felt like we could rely on her if we needed anything. We were positively surprised by the food and drinks that awaited us in the apartment as a welcome. The apartment was charming and you could see there had been a lot of love and care put into it. Everything was clean and tidy, the beds were very comfortable and we have an amazing stay. We greatly reccomend this place and will likely visit again.

It is a great place when you want to visit Ptuj or just stay overnight during your trip to the Adriatic Sea. The price/quality ratio is great. Nice rustic apartments and very helpful owner. We will definitely recommend or come back when we travel to Croatia again.

A very good apartment built with great taste. Very clean, with plenty of amenities, a comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchen and free parking. On the ground floor, there is a restaurant run by the owners, who are very kind and helpful.

“Comfortable, clean, great hospitality”
Clean apartment, very nice owner, close to the city, markets were close, walking distance, tasty pizza, great attitude towards kids and animals :) taking care of guests eg offered garage to park cars during thunderstorms, highly recommend this place :) apartment number 4 has jacuzzi, which was a positive surprise for our family :)

Everything was great, our host was very kind, on arrival she offered us refreshments in the restaurant, and afterwards ice cream. The apartment looks brand new, nicely furnished and equipped with everything. Markovci is a really nice village, with nice people.

“Beautiful apartment and country!”
The apartment is very new and has been lovingly created with great attention to detail; from traditional window frames which form part of the banisters, to the beautiful wooden floors and the wood-burning oven. The apartment is well-equipped, towels and bedding are provided and if we needed anything else then we only had to ask and our host provided it immediately. We were given fresh milk, apples, coffee and sweets upon arrival which we much appreciated! The apartment is located above the pizzeria and if you order the delicious pizzas everything is brought up to your terrace (including cutlery, plates and sauces) and you can eat in your own little space whilst listening to the owls call. We ate all our meals on the terrace with beautiful views over the rolling countryside, the lake beyond the trees and the mountains in the distance. Markovci is a sweet little town, with two shops, a pharmacy and an amazing ice cream shop! The village is just a few minutes walk from the lake and a stunning nature reserve. The gorgeous town of Ptuj is just a short drive away and well worth a visit (or two). It is true that the walls are a little thin and you can hear the apartment next door. But this wasn’t a problem as they got up and went to bed about the same time as we did. The apartment had air conditioning which was excellent during the summer heat. All in all we loved our stay, we felt very welcome and were impressed by our host, the apartment, the village and indeed Slovenia as a whole. We would love to come again, thank you for a lovely stay!
