The house was really well equipped for self catering. Everything was very clean and comfortable. There was great communication from the host with all questions answered immediately. Easy to access the property. I would highly recommend it.

This place is a real magic! You have a beautiful facility and a calm beautiful View, with bunnis running around.

We rented Casa Oso for the Christmas holidays. The house is beyond gorgeous, very spacious, and comfortable. It is well kept and very clean. It also had all amenities that our family needed during our stay. The inside is super cozy, and nicely furbished. The outside areas are clean, well-kept, and safe. The towns of Mariposa and Oakhurst were at close distance, and the drive to Yosemite State Park was within a reasonable distance. Communications with the owner went very well. Maja and Anne were always available to answer our questions and provide recommendations or advice on the region and close towns. We loved every minute of our stay, and hope to return soon in the near future. Casa Oso is highly recommended!

Big wooden house, well equipped, with parking and charging piles. The hillside behind the house is covered with grass. The air is fresh and you can see the sunrise over Yosemite.

“Wonderful lodge near to Yosemite”

Wonderfully crafted and decorated wooden log lodge with views of the surrounding mountains, it is like something out of the TV drama Yellowstone. Ideal location to relax and enjoy the views and only about an hour's drive from Yosemite. Near (20 minutes) to the town, Oakhurst, that has grocery shops, restaurants, bars, fast food takeaways. Worth visiting to stock up before driving to the lodge. Benefited from having a hot tub next to the lodge where you can admire the vista sipping a glass of wine. This lodge is quality and perfect for a relaxing time near to the Yosemite attractions. Lodge had all the kitchen and washing facilities to cook your own food and wash your clothes. Loved the open plan living room and kitchen plan. Lodge offers fast WiFi but the phone signal is poor.

Beautifully and luxuriously furnished cabin with great views and very spacious. It turned out to be a fantastic place to wait out terrible weather before heading into Yosemite. In fact when the weather finally did clear some of us still didn’t want to leave.
