Jane and Richard are one of the best hosts. They were accommodative of us arriving late at night and had even kept the breakfast for us in a to-go box as we were leaving early one day. They guided us and told better places to explore and even cooked really well hot breakfast as per our request one of the days. The rooms were super clean and the inn was maintained really good offered a homely vibes. We loved staying with them and will stay again while being in the vicinity. The cherry was seeing stars with naked eyes from the room balcony.

The property is unique and peaceful. Decorated with great care, it has personality and is really comfortable. The hosts could not have been more welcoming and helpful, particularly with advice about accessing Yosemite NP. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone. The property is about a 15 min drive from Mariposa, which has a number of cafes and restaurants; we tried the Happy Goat, which was great.

We had an excellent stay. The hosts were wonderful. Full of knowledge about Yosemite and the surrounding areas. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. The packed breakfast for our early start was very welcome and there was plenty of it. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was just wonderful. So peaceful and the view of the stars at night was glorious. We were sorry to leave!

“Peaceful location”

The property itself was fantastic and the decor wonderful. The owners were so knowledgeable on the local are and the Yosemite National Park and gave us great tips on future stages of our driving tour of California. The home cooked breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. It's in a very quiet location but only a fifteen minute drive to the small town of Mariposa with a good selection of places to eat and drink.

Lovely house with a fantastic view and very welcoming owners. Served as a good base for visiting Yosemite. I loved the closeness of nature, especially the hummingbirds on the porch every evening and the occasional visit of a deer.

Spectaculur location. Serenity in the wilderness, wildlife galore. 45 min from the park. Jane the host was a welth of valuale information that allowed us to get the most out of our time in Yosemite.

This is a perfect spot to relax after hiking in Yosemite! Clean, quiet, and cosy. Excellent tips from the hosts on how to make your experience in Yosemite best possible as well as flexible and tasty breakfast make it a very unique place to stay!

Hosts were friendly and generous with their time. Jane spent a while explaining the options for a great hike as well as the benefits for going really early. She made up a breakfast bag which I could take with me which was helpful. They also provided some recommendations for local restaurants which proved excellent.

“Great stay for Yosemite”

The breakfast to go was a life saver - we were out by 5.30am every day to get a full day of hiking in and didn’t return til about 8pm each night. Jane’s breakfast left in the fridge for us meant we could head straight to the park and didn’t have to make something ourselves while exhausted the night before! The property was also clean and comfortable, and Jane gave us some great tips for Yosemite upon arrival and even provided us with ponchos for the waterfall hikes!

Lovely host, excellent breakfast, good location not too far from the national park, quirky decor with lots of character, comfy bed, very quite location.

Beautiful b&b, very comfortable rooms. Jane & Richard are a worm welcoming couple, gave us lots of info and guidance as to places to travel in Yosemite. Takes an hour just getting to the park’s entrance, but worth it over staying in a lodge.

It’s an absolute gem. Pictures on the website do not do justice - the rooms are furnished with exquisite taste. The house is actually in the forest. You may wake up to the sight of roes having a sip of water from the pond under your window. It’s per definition the island of peace.

Both hosts are very nice people and do everything to make your stay comfortable. The house and location are very clean and cozy with a lot of cute animals around the house such as squirls and humingbirds. They give you a lot of extra info for visiting Yosemite and choose the right hikes for the next day. For early starters they make a nice breakfast to go.

“A perfect stay in the woods near Yosemite NP”

We were warmly welcomed. Richard made us a perfect plan with things to do while our three nights stay. This was a great help during our visit of Yosemite. The breakfast options include a to go breakfast that is great when starting early in the day. Hot breakfast at our last morning was also very delicious. Rooms are lovely designed and we felt really at home, the whole accomodation is cozy and calm and it provided everthing we needed during our stay. Communication with the hosts was easy, we got great support from both when having questions.
