Oikos Selinunte Guest House, is a gem of a place in Selinunte, near Castelvetrano, provincia di Trapani in Sicily. It is a cute seaside village with a small working fishing harbour. Selinunte is surrounded by Olive and grape farms, which adds to the beauty of the area. It is walking distance to Parco Archeologico, which has ancient Greco ruins including an Acropolis that was built there thousands of years ago. The beach in town is a lovely family favourite, with danger free swimming and a waveless environment. You can endulge in Pannini, cafè style eateries or restaurants. It is picture perfect and a quite seaside village to relax. The room was lovely, with a shaded balcony overlooking a courtyard. The Kico cafè provided in the espresso machine is TOP NOTCH. The hosts were LOVELY and accomodating. I have no hesitation in recommending this.

No breakfast was served even though it is registered as Bed & Breakfast. Other disappointment was internet wasn't available.

“Comfortable & welcoming with delicious breakfast, walking distance to beach & archeological park!”
The breakfast was amazing. It was a typical Sicilian spread of pastries with local marmalade, local bread, salame, fruit, and yogurt. The room was clean and comfortable. And our host was very welcoming and helpful. The location was also very convenient, being just a five-minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Grazie mille!

We had a great stay at Oikos, the host was really friendly and helpful. Great location, only 5-10 mins away from the beach and restaurants, and 20mins away from the Selinunte archaeological site. The room was very clean and tidy, everything was as it shown on the photos. The host even drove us to Campobello di Mazara for €15 where we could catch our bus to Palermo, which we thought was a reasonable price. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back!

“Excellent quality value for money room”
Ideally located for visit to Selinunte Archaeological Park and walking distance to restaurants nearby and beach overlooking the sea. Exactly what we were looking for. Breakfast was good and owner/staff very welcoming and helpful. Our room had sea glimpses from balcony.
