“Comfortable Seaside Accomodation With Excellent Location”

Casa Marie is a comfortable apartment located in a residential building (in a block of flats) right on the beachfront. The sea is only about 50 metres from the entrance, and the balcony offers a lovely view of the beach, the water and the molo. It was the first place we stayed at in Sicily where we felt truly warm and cosy during our December trip, unlike other accommodations that tended to be cold and damp. The apartment is very well equipped, featuring a fully fitted kitchen, a washing machine (one for dishes, and another for clothes), reliable Wi-Fi and other useful amenities. Guests can also access the rooftop, which offers a nice view and a pleasant spot for sunbathing. There are enjoyable, longer walks to take along the coastline. Even outside the main season, the bakery on the ground floor remains open, and just across the street you’ll find Don Pepinu, an excellent pastry shop with cannoli, ice cream and marzipan. A small grocery store is conveniently located - just diagonally across the crossroad. The hosts were very accommodating and kindly waited an extra hour for us at check-in, as we were delayed on the way.

We loved our stay at Casa Marie very much! We had 5 different apartments on our 3 week trip in Sicily and this one was by far our absolute favourite! Our Hosts where really kind, welcoming and helpful. The kitchen was nicely equipped and the whole apartment was not only beautifully designed, but had also practical space for storing clothes. The long private terrace with beautiful sea view was perfect for having coffee or meals in the sun or reading a book. There is also the option so sit outside the apartments door for morning sun or to use the rooftop terrace. There was also a really beautiful pathway for a good morning run. The beach is also one minute from the apartment and there is a delicious bakery/Café right down the building, which also smelled nice. The mattress was really comfortable. A Highlight was also the massage-function of the shower!

best value, sea sight and very affordable price, at least for this winter off-season, which, in any case felt almost like summer :-) the village is also amazing for kids with a nice playground on the beach.

Excellent and over expectations. Clean and lots of space, warm rooms, great view from balcony and terrace… just everything you need is already in the apartment, from kitchen to bathroom.. fresh linens, towels… but most important warm welcome from the hosts. For our family the best experience by far on the Island Sicily. I hope we can come back one day.

“A lovely place”

Modern, clean, bright and functional place. Very well equipped, anything you need is available. Central location, nice view, spacious apartment, we were 5 of us and we felt comfortable. Great hosts and communication with them was excellent. All really well, I wish one day I stay for longer.

One thing I would mention is it a bit cold during night, especially during February wind season. The heating device doesnt really heat bedroom and although we closed all window blinds, still it was a bit chilly.

Welcoming, clean, functional. Perfect for a weekend or a longer holiday, very child friendly. We only stayed for a night on our way to somewhere else, but it's perfect for a family holiday with children - a few metres from the beach, washing machine and dishwasher, everything you need. Brilliant shower. Balcony running along the whole flat big enough for a small table, and a rooftop terrace for warm evenings. Wendy and her husband were really friendly and available. We found free parking easily, but that might be a but more difficult in peak season
