“Terrible experience, don’t go there”

Actually nothing, the owner was rude, he didnt know how to explain where we should park the car, ı had to call him several times, noone can speak English. The hotel is overrated and worn out. Terrible stairs, we had to pull the suitcases kilometers long because he couldnt explain anything. It is no use to stay in old town, just go there for an afternoon see the view at night and stay somewhere in new town. Don’t trust the scores, I made the booking for 2 days but decided to stay one night, I asked the owner he agreed with it but after he got the payment from booking, he said he wont pay us the one night back. We left the hotel any way after one night. Breakfast was also poor. Won’t recommend it at all. I paid less in İstanbul in a very fancy area and with great service.

The location was quite convenient — it was close to the Mardin Museum and within walking distance of the old town market. It made exploring the city easy and enjoyable.

We liked the hotel very much. Everything - the old historical building in the street that is only accessible by stairs, the view from the terrace, our room, decorations, friendly staff, breakfast. Also complimentary tea and coffee all day long.

No elevator :c +if you put more water in the fridge because walking around the city is so tiring

“Great value hotel for the iconic Mardin experience”

Just a few steps above the Old Post Office, our room in this mansion hotel was large and well-decorated. All rooms open out to a terrace with a panoramic view of the city and Mardin plain. If it arrives in time, a good breakfast is available in the dining area above all the rooms. The area below the post office is a central minibus stop.

The location is very good positioned. You can have very good views over the city and the Mesopotamian planes.

Beautiful location and fantastic views - once you got there. Very helpful owner, who arranged for the airport bus to stop to pick up two 'foreigners' at a location at the bottom of the steps for return to airport. A large room with sofa and chairs as well as v comfortable large bed, opening onto a terrace overlooking the plains of Mesopotamia. Well positioned above the top end of the main street through Eski Mardin,
