“Perfect location and fantastic staff.”

Beautiful view. Great big rooms. Few stairs to get to property because its right by the road. The staff were so helpfull and nice to us. Special mentions the staff at the reception and Ahmet. Show every evening with music. Great food.

“Mardin Old City is a fascinating place, and is certainly worth visiting.”

This hotel has not aged well, and indeed is quite shabby. I was initially checked into a quite inappropriate room, and was fortunately given a better room without any hassle. The wifi in my room was sporadic (which may be a reflection on the stone walls of the building). However it was a genuine nuisance, and given the room rate, was disappointing.

I like the location and the view from the terrace, breakfast is also good. The hotel accepted the shared feedback and trying to improve.

Everything! The property and rooms are absolutely stunning! Staff are phenomenal and they all went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. We got put into one of the most beautiful rooms I've ever stayed in my life. The location is great as it's on the main road into Mardin, and you can easily explore the old city by foot. The restaurant is also wonderful and has lovely local music playing at night. A huge thank you to everyone for making our stay so great, we actually extended from 1 night to 3 nights stay.

The Hotel was so beautiful and set in one of the most majestic location. I was upgraded to the most beautiful room in the hotel with a balcony view of the fort and the city. I highly recommended doing the live dinner and traditional singing show. So much fun and the food was delicious. Would come back in a heartbeat.

“Highly recommendable”

It was like stepping back in time in to a beautiful cozy VIP room. It was a great experience and we really enjoyed the private hamam in the bath. Location is amazing and walking distance to everything in old town. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will be coming back, highly recommendable.

Amazing breakfast, very spacious and beautiful room and bathroom. The staff is very helpful too. The hotel looks and feels like a castle.

“Amazing stay.”

We arrived on an early morning flight well before check in time. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They offered us free breakfast while we were waiting for our room to become available. They will also look after your bags before check in and also once you check out. The room was clean and tidy. ⁸Overall it is a wonderful place to stay at and would happily come back here again in the future.

A nice hotel in a very good location in the old part of Mardin. I walked all around town and got to see all the sights - and could still take a little siesta inbetween at the hotel. Comfy! The breakfast was very nice - but always the same for seven days in a row. But really nice and yummy anyway.

We had a wonderful stay at Maridin Hotel! It is a truly beautiful hotel with its authentic building and style, located very centrally in Mardin, close to many major sights. The view from the terrace is amazing where we enjoyed coffee/ tea during day, and dinners in the evening. The rooms are very clean. The personnel at the reception such as Miss Bahar and her colleagues as well as the restaurant and elsewhere were very kind and helpful. The food was delicious and of good quality, and we really enjoyed the traditional music at the “sira gecesi” during dinners. It was overall an amazing time in this hotel, and also the fact that we had an upgraded room made our stay very pleasant.

It was great! The location was perfect, easy to get to and close to many sightseeings. The food at the restaurant was excellent, the waiter gave us great recommendations. We also loved the traditional music every evening. We had an amazing room, everything was clean and loved the design of the bathroom with the traditional Turkish tiles. The staff was very helpful and always available.
