“Quaint rural inn off the beathen path near a nice town with good food”

This was an interesting stop on the way to Seville, for one night. It's a country style hotel, down a sand road, 3 km from Marchena, into the countryside. It's a traditional farmhouse on an olive tree plantation, with rows of guestrooms. The small, clean room was bright in tones of yellow. There is a small swimmingpool, several dogs and several kids, harmonious and kind. Marchena is a nice town, with good food.

“Beautiful, historic house!”

This house is utterly beautiful. I felt privileged to stay there. A real piece of Spanish history. Lovely welcome and although we had very little grasp of each others language, we laughed our way through and it was a very pleasant experience. While not exactly the last word in luxury and no provision for food and drink, I wholeheartedly recommend this magnificent house. I had a great night sleep and there are plenty of food/drink options nearby. Just wait until you see the main living room! wow

“disappointed stay”

I’ve arrived to the hotel and was guided to my room. no information was given I regards to wifi or breakfast. After I asked they’ve informed me that there was no breakfast due to COVID 19 outbreak and only aferre asking again they gave me the indication of a restaurant nearby were I could get breakfast (the hotel is outside the city) which by the way it was closed. immediately after I was left alone I plugged the electric heater and went to the bathroom. when I return to the room there was smoke coming out the socket were the heater was plugged. I unplugged the heater and the socket was black and burned. I was changed to another room (no apologies nor explanations were given for this situation…the whole room could got on fire..) and when I entered into the bathroom to take a shower, the shower head just exploded living the shower hose spitting water all around the bathroom. the shower was fixed next day. As last, when returning to the hotel at night it was a requirement to use the back door as the front door remained closed. The access to the back door is through the backyard which was always bombed with dog excrements and as there was no light during night, it was a need to use your cellphone lamp to avoid step those excrements.. in general the building is very nice and could be a very cozy place if it wasn’t for the lack of interest to keep it clean and tidy..

The location is a little distant from Marchena although the host very kindly drove and collected us ftom the town
