The Hotel Marburger Hof is not just wonderful, it exceeded our expectations. Very friendly and helpful stuff, very efficient management, wonderful breakfast. We styed in a Family room, it was big with nice comfortable furniture and very good super comfortable bed. Besides, there is a bath and a big balcony with nice furniture. We had a marvellous time and will definitely come again.

“Great location, great staff, great breakfast”
Fabulous breakfast in a modern room with loads of choice - everyone in the family was catered for. Our family room was large and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was right next to the church and Christmas markets, but walkable to the station. it was a great location. The staff were so welcoming and friendly.

The staff were incredibly helpful and we had a warm welcome. This is one of the reasons I try to find family-owned hotels as opposed to chains. Having a garage belonging to the hotel was a bonus!

“A gem of a hotel and service with a smile”
The location on first sight does not reflect the lovely experience received at the Marburger Hof. This is a lovely place to stay. The staff are so lovely and there are many thoughtful and sweet touches around the hotel and in the rooms that really make you feel valued and wanted as a guest. Every interaction with staff was lovely and smiles were never far away. The room we had was perfect and the balcony such a treat as we had hot weather to enable us to sit out in the warmth and soak up the stillness and greenery. The Breakfast was amazing. The little additions that show someone has really thought things through meant guests had everything they would need. The quality was great and choice off the scale. The hotel itself was comfortable and well kept. This hotel is a little gem and we would return in a heartbeat.

Lovely place, well located for visiting Marburg. Room and balcony were great! Unfortunately our shower didn't drain correctly but a reduction on our bill was made immediately.
