“Very helpful host, clean and great location close to one of the best beaches of the island.”

Very clean and tidy with a cute ”house cat” (only outside) which we named Toothless since she had only a few left. Extremely helpful host who saved us when we forgot our passports and credit cards in the villa by having them swiftly transported to the airport. Stunning view from the upper floor and not bad from the first floor either. Very good taverna 20 meters from the villa and café with good breakfast next to the taverna. Fantastic yoghurt :) Would warmly recommend it to you who do not come to Zakynthos to party.

“Zakynthos: a Greek paradise with wonderful people!”

Large and comf 2-store house, furniture- specially the kitchen- a bit old, but for a sea-holiday viable. We stayed on the upper floor, 3 terraces with a breathtaking view over the wonderful bay. Change of towels and bed sheets every 2 days, everything very clean. Friendly owner who has also the opposite "taverna-restaurant & bar, offering good-quality food ( local meat and fresh fish). So if you don't feel like cooking every day, there's that opportunity, even though prices are not low as can be thought ( they're just the same as in Vienna's restaurants... 😉). We didn't use the TV, but as long as we've checked, there are mainly Greek channels. Aircon was precious, specially in the 1st week, when temperatures reached exceptionally +36°/37°. Washing machine is downstairs and of common use to both apartments. felt very free, the area is quiet and sure. Be aware that to reach the small pebble-beach you need to go downhill among some stones and a couple of slight difficult descents, you better wear closed shoes in order ro avoid slippering on the pebbles. But after the 1st cautious experience, we got used to it and we enjoyed coming down and swim or snorkeling at 7:00am or late at evening... Being professional guides in Vienna and interpreters, we arrived totally "worn-out" and very tired. After 19 days we left completely relaxed and happy! We're in love with that part of Zakynthos, more suitable to adults, so we just decided to come back next year.

Amazing views from all three terraces of the apartments. All amenities for a comfortable stay and cooking.

Wonderful quiet place. Lots of space. A good retreat from summer heat. A beach and a restaurant nearby.

“Tranquility”

Idyllic location, peaceful and relaxing. Our host was extremely helpful and thoughtful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again and hope to. The taverna across the road is fabulous with wonderful views to take in as you enjoy the fantastic menu. The accomodation had everything we required for a relaxing stay. I would recommend a car or scooter for getting into the village for supplies.

“Magical!”

Very pleasant cosy villa and a charming area of the island, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Sea view through olive branches, calming sounds of countryside and cosy elegant terraces. After stayng in the villa for over a week, we agreed that Marathias is the best location on the island. The hosts made us feel very much at home and was very helpful with everything. The apartment has everything one can possibly need when on holiday and much more. It was superbly clean and fresh!

The location is amazing, you have beautiful view to the see and turtle island. Rooms were always clean, kitchen nicely equipped. I loved that the living rooms was fitted with android tv that allowed us to watch our shows and content. Restaurant across the street is perfect place for dinner and there is also place for breakfast / brunch.
