The studio offers plenty of space and is clean, with fresh bedding changed twice during our 7-day stay. It has a beautiful garden and an excellent location—just a quick 2-minute walk to the beach. Dimitris and his mom Maria were truly wonderful, friendly, and very accommodating to our requests. Since we chose budget-friendly accommodations to focus on experiences, it perfectly suited our needs and made our trip memorable.

At least 15 points out of 10, seriously the best choice. Location: perfect, literally 1 minute walk from the best beach in Corfu Apartman: nice, tidy and clean. Wr cannot be grateful enough for giving is the renewed apartman, thank you for that. The host is renewing the apartments one by one, but eve the older ones are nice and clean.. But the bestest part of the place is: the people. This place has a soul, which is the family running it. We only got to meat Dimitrios and his lovely son, but cannot tell how friendly and lovely people they are. They make your stay a perfectly welcomed holiday. Thank you for everything!!!! If you go to Corfu, this place is a perfect choice!

firstly, location is perfect - mere 2 minutes walk to a sandy beach where you can have 2 sunbeds and an umbrella for around 10€. beach is quite clean, the sea is beautiful and clean. this part of marathias feels a bit secluded so having a car is a must for exploring. the room was just enough and we were very grateful for the AC. dimitrios is a fantastic host. he will make you feel so welcome and the atmosphere is very homely, cozy and relaxed. he has also arranger transfer for us to and from airport. maria, his wife, makes tasty greek food which we very much appreciated. portions were quite large and we never left the table hungry. his son has made our stay very memorable as he is bubbly, funny and charming - a true showman. all in all, we came home with full bellies, recuperated and happy that once again greece has won us over with hospitality and food.

Family Studios is everything a small hotel with restaurant should be – authentic, warm, simple and filled with love. This small family studios and restaurant is run by family, creating something wonderful and sincere. The food is extraordinary – incredibly delicious, homemade and completely authentic. Each dish is prepared with special attention to detail. You can feel that cooking here is done with the soul, not just with your hands. The atmosphere is wonderful – sincere, relaxed, with so much love, emotion and warmth. It is a place where you feel like part of the family, where people are good, normal and full of heart.

A perfect, quiet place

The landlord is very hospitable and the food is great, big thanks for that. Nice beach nearby. But this does not compensate the fact of misinformation about the bad shape of the rooms and misfunctioning shower.

This is the place where you feel like at home thanks to the hospitality of its owners. Dimitris and his Mum, Maria did everything to help us to have a wonderful rest. The family-run taverna offers amazing home-cooked meals, Maria (the mother of Dimitris) being an excellent chef, and their portions are generous. The beach is about 2 minutes walk from the apartment which is great. The beach is sandy, clean, one part of the beach has bars and restaurants and the other part is very quiet with no people and no noise. The room is simple, but clean.

We spent 4 nights at Family Studios and felt great there. Our room for 3 was simple but clean and everything we needed was there (bathroom, air conditioning, fridge...), except a mosquito net, so we couldn't sleep with our window open (but I think the other rooms had it). The location of the accommodation is a huge advantage. Very close to a wonderful sandy beach, and a small shop is right next door. You can buy everything you need, from food (pastries, fruit, vegetables, ham, etc) to toiletries (shower gels, SPF and after sun creams...), magnets, postcards or hats. The owners of the guesthouse were very nice and accommodating. We travelled from Kerkyra to Marathias by bus (B1 - direction Kavos) and the owner's father was there to pick us up from the bus stop in the village. At the end of our stay the owner Dimitry drove us to the bus stop himself. We had half board and the food is a separate chapter. It was a gourmet experience! It was my personal first time in Greece and I was impressed by the Greek cuisine. The prices in restaurants in this area are friendly, e.g. right on the beach you can have pita gyros for 5 euros or specialties of Greek cuisine for about 12-16 euros. However, I recommend to eat at Dimitri's place, it was the best. We enjoyed our short stay and will definitely be happy to return in the future.

“NICE, SLOW-PACED, COSY STAY”

The owners, and just the whole family, are lovely, caring, and aware of their customers’ needs. We ate breakfast as well as dinners there and I must say that the food is delicious and authentic, freshly made by Maria and the staff. The room was cleaned every day, and despite its simplicity and being a bit worn out, clean and nice. The beds were comfy. The location is just GREAT, very close to a beautiful vast beach. It might be noisy sometimes, depending on the day (when there is live music here or there).

Omg, Family Studios is absolutely perfect. Run by the charismatic Dimitrios, his lovely wife Maria, his wonderful mother, also called Maria and best of all their five year old son Spiros, who is so clever and funny, this wonderful place is situated five minutes walk from the glorious Sandy beach of Marathias. The apartment we stayed in was so cozy and spotlessly clean and the food was outstanding. We were treated to a delicious breakfast every morning of ham, cheese, tomatoes, eggs and fresh bread; and dinner was traditional Greek food like moussaka or souvlaki, or glorious food off the grill. Dimitrios always asked if we were hungry and he certainly fed us well. On a Wednesday night, there is live Greek music, which was a treat. Nothing was too much trouble. We arrived really late as our flight was delayed, but that didn't stop Dimitrios welcoming us and whipping up a plate of food for us. They all really looked after us like we were family and they were like that with everyone else. We want to come back next year. If you are lucky enough to stay here, look out for George who works at the first Taverna as you get to the beach. He was such a beautiful person, looking after us everyday, bringing us banana milkshakes and chatting to us. And of course, the sea was glorious. What a perfect holiday. Xx
