Overview
The 5-star Santavenere Hotel offers a fully equipped wellness centre, swimming pools, 3 restaurants and a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. It is in Maratea, just 250 metres from its own private beach. Rooms have a classic and elegant feel and feature either modern or antique wooden furniture. Each room is air conditioned and has free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have a balcony overlooking the garden or sea in the distance. The spa and wellness centre opens every day from 10:00 until 20:00 and features a sauna and Turkish bath. Rates include sun umbrellas and loungers at the beach. At breakfast you can enjoy a buffet of savoury and sweet products, including both cold and hot food. Santavenere’s à la carte restaurant specialises in Mediterranean cuisine. You can also enjoy a beach restaurant and one by the swimming pool. Maratea Train Station is a 15-minute walk from the hotel, while the city centre is 3 km away. A shuttle service to various destinations is provided at extra costs.

“Excellence, Relaxation and Unmatched Hospitality”
We stay at Santa Venere in Maratea quite often, and every time it confirms itself as an extraordinary place. The sense of peace, relaxation, and the atmosphere you experience here are truly unique. A special thank you to Camilla, Roberta, Alessandra, and Justine at the Reception, who are always professional, friendly, and helpful, as well as to the entire staff, who contribute to making every stay perfect. Special praise also goes to the General Manager, Nicola, an exceptional person who is always attentive to guests and their needs. Every time we leave, we are sorry to say goodbye to this wonderful place, and we always tell ourselves the same thing: we will be back soon. Highly recommended.

“What a wonderful coastal experience at an amazing hotel!”
From our very arrival at the hotel's motorized gate through to our goodbyes we were delighted with the hotel and staff at the Santavenere! Everyone was very friendly and helpful at the hotel and the property is a joy to spend time relaxing, swimming and eating. The attention to detail and the quality of everything is amazing. It all feels authentic to Italy though and so many of the staff we spoke to are from the area. The breakfasts are to die for and unfortunately time did not allow for a dinner meal at the hotel. Swimming was a delight as were the waterfront lounge beds and staff. The front desk organized a private water tour by boat and it was spectacular. We are returning for a long stay and we look forward to it!
