“Outstanding hotel, breakfast and pool.”

Wonderful location over Maratea. Staff were great at organising taxis, room upgrades etc. Breakfast was great, healthy with amazing coffee. Lovely pool and wonderfully comfy loungers.

The hotel is located near the old town of Maratea and housed in an 18th-century monastery building that was once home to nuns. I loved the art objects throughout the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

It was a little treasure in old town. We loved everything about it. The view from our balcony was breathtaking and the pool was amazing. Fabulous breakfast and really helpful staff. A luxe hotel was not what we expected and it exceeded our epectations in every way

Old fashioned values and service, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent polite staff. Would highly recommend. Fantastic location. They unloaded our car and parked it in their private car park. Collected our bags and loaded into our car when we left. Spectacular views. Room was immaculate and clean. 5 stars for this hotel. Breakfast was perfect and plentiful. We didnt haveva kettle in our room so they supplied one for us. Loved our stay.

“Characterful hotel with stunning views”

A stunning setting and a characterful hotel in a lovely little town. The bar and pool area had great views. The rooms were clean and comfortable with phone, safe, plenty of space for clothes, nice toiletries etc. The staff were great: friendly and helpful.

The proprietors were extremely helpful and charming. The pool was small but perfectly formed, with a very nice pool side area with quite beautiful views. The Staff were extremely attentive. The place oozes history and charm.

It was close to the old town which was very convenient. The pool was great. Staff were very friendly and organised parking of our car and delivery of luggage. Breakfast was also good.

It was a little piece of heaven in a beautiful area. The staff were so kind and welcoming, the facilities perfect and there was lots to do and see in and around Matatea. We cannot recommend this enough.
