Overview
Grand Hotel Pianeta Maratea is halfway between the historical centre and the Cristo Redentore statue, and offers an Olympic-size swimming pool, and a children's pool. All rooms have a balcony with views of the coast. The rooms come with air conditioning, satellite TV, and minibar. Some offer extra space. Breakfast is a varied buffet. There is a restaurant at the hotel, serving regional and international cuisine. In the evening you can enjoy music in the piano bar or have a drink on the terrace overlooking the Gulf of Policastro. Sports facilities include tennis courts and a football pitch. Children have their own play area. The property also offers a private beach area, about a 10-minute drive away.

“An amazing stop on the Amalfi Coast”
Fantastically vintage but v. well kept, clean and comfy and I loved the retro vibes. The huge pool is 4m deep at one end so one can dive in (if you can handle the fact that its heated by the sun). Obviously, the location is stunning. There's a big dollop of faded grandeur so if you require tip top conditions this may not be for you, but the price reflects this. They recommended a great taverna within walking distance (Piccolo Ranche) which was lovely. If you're driving the Amalfy Coast this is a fantastic pit stop!!

“Excellent for gluten free”
We are both gluten free and the staff were amazing, they went out of their way to help with this. They offered us lots of options and even produced gluten free options specifically for us. Large outdoor pool, great car park and beautiful hotel

“Incredible hotel and staff!”
Everything!! As soon as we stepped into the hotel, we were sure that the hotel was going to be something special. The view was incredible and the layout of the hotel is perfect, that allows any guest to feel like they are in paradise. The rooms are big and super comfortable. The staff was really friendly and helpful with of our concerns and questions. The breakfast was spectacular! Every morning we would have a big selection of italian pastries (cornetti and cakes), fresh fruis, fresh yogurt, eggs, cheese, bacon and so much more!! The pool added a really magic touch to the view and the statue of christ as the background was so just breathtaking. Couldn’t be happier with the place we chose to spend our 6th year anniversary. I recommend anyone to give a chave to this amazing hotel!!

Huge and luxurious hotel with breathtaking views Definitely a hotel for a longer stay than one night This is a huge resort with pools, hiking trails and lots of scenery around. The location is secluded and gives a feeling of peace and quiet From the window you can see the huge statue on top of the mountain. Excellent location, friendly staff and really trying to help.| Clean and very pleasant place
