The garden and the cliff beach are just heavenly good, absolutely secluded, Ada the host was super nice and friendly, her family is charming, the breakfast with home grown eggs and veggies, home made honey was super tasty, the path around the coves and gottas is very scenic. Would stay longer and would come again ! Much love !!!

“Better Than the Photos: A Peaceful Escape by the Sea in Maratea”

This place is simply magical, even better than it looks in the photos. The hosts are incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything you might need. The breakfast was the best I had during my entire stay in Italy, served on a balcony overlooking a stunning cove. The rooms are independent from the main house, very comfortable, with a spacious bathroom, hot water, air conditioning, and a fridge. The property itself has several areas to relax and, best of all, direct access to a crystal-clear cove. One thing to keep in mind is that you need to go up and down stairs. Personally, I don’t see this as a negative point ,it’s part of the natural topography of the area and what makes it so special. If you are driving, the property is about 10 minutes from Maratea’s main town and around 12–15 minutes from the port, making it a very central location. You can also visit several beaches and beach clubs within less than a 10-minute drive. Overall, I found it to be a true paradise at a very fair price.

The property is in a BEAUTIFUL location! Really peaceful and such a lovely garden and private swimming beach area. It’s a short drive from Maratea - which worked well for us! Ava and Manuela were so friendly and helpful - the breakfast they provided was delightful and just in general felt so welcomed.

Absolutely amazing stay in a stunning location! This place is a little bit of paradise - perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The views are incredible and the private sea access is gorgeous for sunbathing and sunset-watching. Ada the host is so friendly; she really goes out of her way to make sure that you're comfortable and have everything you need, and her breakfasts with fresh homemade honey and jam are delicious! 100% would stay here again.

There are hardly any words to describe the experience we had at Ada’s place. Everything felt like a dream, far away on the sunny shores of southern Italy. The place is absolutely lovely, surrounded by the sea and under the peaceful shade of the mountains. Breakfast was delicious and the people at Amaranto such welcoming hosts. We are definitely coming back, this time for one week - to enjoy nature, the beaches and the relaxing nights looking at the stars. Thanks for having us Ada!

Great location! This place has something that is very unique in these parts of Italy: It is secluded. Situated at the south side of the village means that you have no neighbours in close proximity and the private cliff-beach almost all to yourself. Great breakfast and super kind and attentive staff!
