“Not So Bad”
The city centre location was great. It was easy to find the hotel. The staff was also very helpful. The bed for the 3rd child was nicely set-up in her siblings room. The room smelt so clean and fresh

“Our stay at Hotel 2001 was awesome. We would go there again”
The City Centre location made it easier for us to find the hotel without GPS. We did not yet had Moz starter packs, and people knew where the hotel was. The breakfast was great. The coffee was amazing.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made our experience even more pleasant. They kindly changed our room to accommodate our two children, and even assisted me with a plug adaptor when I forgot that they use different plugs than we do in South Africa. Parking was not a problem at all. Although it was on the street, there was always security present, which made us feel comfortable and safe.

The staff were extremely polite, respectful, and helpful. The hotel was clean, even the beddings. They have a shop where you can buy all sorts of snacks. I loved their meals. The place is a stone throw away from the Maputo CBD- another plus.

Great hotel. Location is superb, staff are super helpful and welcoming. In the middle of bustling downtown but rooms are quiet. Walk to restaurants, central market, many museums, attractions and shops.
