The location is ideal, very spacious and exceptionally clean. From reception to breakfast and check-out was extremely pleasant.

The toilet was not in a separate room but only behind a paravent. This is not in all rooms the case but should be communicated when you book a cerain room type.

The staff was very accommodating, lovely and friendly. Nice breakfast and relaxing seating area (Deli meats, breads, fruits, cereals, coffee, juices etc). Very peaceful as our family was the only one in the 2nd guesthouse where they have a very small restaurant. The 1st house was full, so we cant comment on it. The rooms were very clean, nicely decorated, nice sized comfortable beds/pillows, and clean/big mosquito nets. Recommend accommodation, if you are not interested in hotel rooms. Restaurant was nice to sit down for drinks and music with lovely small garden and small splash pool (not for swimming as its more for abidance).

Felt like staying in a spacious family home , with a pretty friendly restaurant and very friendly staff who were helpful and informative about the neighbourhood. Very clean . I do not value the "international hotel chain" vibe so this was perfect. Am (reasonable) portuguese speaker though.

Safe area to explore Maputo

Acacia Inn was our base station in our stay in Maputo, we spend there altogether 5 nights. The place is beautiful with all those plants and flowers. The staff was great! Breakfast was marvellous, even though there was no decaf (only with extra cost) and my favourite morning fruit – papaya (only two mornings, I believe). The room was cosy and peaceful. The restaurant was good as well.

Unfortunately, this facility accepts so-called overbooking. Two days before arrival we found out that they did not have any rooms booked for us and redirected us to an apartment building located nearby. The standard and atmosphere were completely different from what they offer in their hotel. First, they gave us keys to rooms already occupied by other guests and realized that it was a mistake when we were already in those rooms, then it turned out that the towels were for one person and we were in a room for two. We had to come to their facility for breakfast because there was no breakfast in the apartments. Finally, we paid the bill at their hotel according to the rate from the reservation and we noticed that in the apartments to which they redirected us there was a lower rate for nothing in the price list. Generally poor, we advise against the facility because such an action may also please you.

Bedroom was spacious, with an amazingly comfortable bed and lots of light. Staff was extremely friendly and supportive to help us organize our holidays.

The location is very good. Close to city centre en Costa do Sol. Restaurants nearby and they have their own restaurant. Secured parking.

Lovely old house, well located in a nice neighbourhood with secure, off street parking. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was good.
