I can not really rate this accommodation. Booked and confirmed by booking.com, but when we turned up at the apartment, nobody was there to hand over the key and we had not been contacted by the property either. We eventually got hold.of the owner who told.us that they were too far away and.could.not get the key to us. According to the owner it was our responsibility to contact.them. This was a first to me since with all other dozens of bookings over booking.com, I had been contacted by the property with details.or instructions.

“Clean Modern Apartment that's a little remote with some unwelcome wildlife”
The place had clearly been cleaned thoroughly. It was a short walking distance from the centre of Ribeira Grande. It was a good size, with multiple beds. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. There was a washing machine which could be used and they even left a little washing powder. A sofa to relax on in the living room. Ample parking spaces out front if required. Quiet at night. Good price for an apartment of its size if you're going to fill all of the beds. Ribeira Grande feels more real and loved in than Ponta Do Sol.
