The staff - Gaby Stephy and Montserrat were super friendly caring and helpful with everything - also the recommended Tour with Omar was lovely and definetly recommended. They really made our stay special! The community kitchen is well equipped and the veranda is nice to chill. Pool with cool water, sea and supermarkets just down the little road.

“Comfortable, but hard to get to sleep”
The bed was comfortable and facilities were very good and the the room clean. There is a nice little pool (no chairs or loungers though). It is 100 metres from the beach, I could see it from the hammock outside my room.

“nice, calm and remote”
it was really close to the manzanillo beach, lots of cool restaurants were in close distance, hardly any tourist. It was a pretty calm and remote place. The staff is super nice and helpful. The pool is super clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Wifi works perfectly. Also super big help that they had some adapters in the room for charging phones.

“Great place, great people, great nature!”
The staff was really incredibly helpful. There were some small issues and the staff immediately addressed and always cheerfully. We paid a little more than we had for other accomodations, but the lodge is beautiful, staff is 5 star, and it was located about 700 meters from the Mazanillo Refuge, which was great. It was about 4K from the ARA Green Macaw Refuge. The beach was 100 meters. Mr. Maxies restaurant was about 100 meters, the food was great, service perfect, and prices reasonable. We recommend sitting on the porch and seeing all the birds in the morning, and visiting all the places we mentioned. There are fruit bats as well, do not be afraid, but be grateful for their role in the environment and the incredible talents they possess. We also met a lot of people from other countries that we enjoyed visiting with. Expect to have nature share your space, but embrace it and you will love this lovely place and incredible team.
