“Beachfront R&R”

Fantastic location right on the beach, perfect for a morning swim and within easy walking distance of the nature reserve. The cabin was spacious, sparkling clean and had all the facilities we needed while retaining a rustic feel. Our host Mauro was on hand whenever we needed help and even made time to introduce us to a local sloth. Gracias amigo! 👍🏻

Very beautiful house directly at the beach. We had a very good time with Mauro as well. He lives behind and is helpful in case you need anything. We are definitely coming again.

Very well equipped kitchen - big and comfortable. Hamaks and big table on the tarace in from of the house. Tarace with the view on the sea. In the nearby - the trees where you may find family of sloths. Also very close nice park for a walk to vist lovely beaches. ALso very close shops and restaurants and bars.

We stayed at Casas del mar three weeks ago. Absolutely gorgeous place with the best location in town. Mauro is the perfect host! You can hear the waves from your bedroom. There's a nice porch and the area and the place is really calm. It's important to point out that the pictures of the house reflect the reality as it is. To have booked Casas del Mar was a totally success!

“Perfect chill out house by the beach! Pura Vida!”

Amazing location next to the beach! The children were straight in the sea, it’s lovely and warm. Real authentic Caribbean feel to staying here. Hammocks great to relax in. Mauro the host is so helpful and friendly - he had balls and toys etc for the children to use! The kitchen is well equipped. Beds are comfy and have mosquito nets. A place to really unwind and get away from it all. Very quiet, chilled place.

Lovely bungalow next to the sea and the nature reserve. Lots of rain but that did nothing to hide the charm of the place.

“Caribbean feeling in the best sense of the word”

There are two log cabins on the property, each with two adjoining rooms. Behind them are the kitchen and bathroom. Both rooms have a ceiling fan and very nice and comfortable double beds. As there are quite a lot of mosquitoes in the evenings, the beds are perfectly covered with mosquito nets - this really ensures undisturbed sleep. The spacious covered terrace in front of the house has a direct view of the palm trees on the beach and the sea - it's simply wonderful to only ‘have to’ get up and walk 20 metres to be able to go swimming on a beautiful fine sandy beach. And when you get back, the outdoor shower is already waiting for you. The only thing between the property and the beach is the unpaved path to the entrance of the national park. This means that there is regular traffic during the day, but it didn't bother us - especially as the waves made a very nice natural background noise. And it was totally quiet between 6pm and 8am. The hosts Héloise and Mauro deserve special mention. They were always available if you wanted to ask anything and were extremely friendly and accommodating. You could really see that they do their job perfectly: outside the garden was very well maintained and inside everything was super clean - plus lots of nice little things like candles, fragrance sticks and the towels were also beautifully folded. In short: we were completely thrilled. We can really recommend this accommodation without reservation.

A little gem, right at the end of the road, between the jungle and the sea. Perfectly equipped for a family vacation. Wonderful owners who live next door and help with every need and question. Highly recommended

Our experience with the accommodation was amazing. The friendly hosts were always willing to help. The peaceful surroundings and, most of all, the proximity to the beach and the seating area overlooking the beautiful garden with hummingbirds were highlights for us. We would love to return to this place again.
