Stay was okay. Room was simple but enough. Further from the beach than I thought but local bus available from outside. The aerial class was great and breakfast yummy. Thank you to the staff helping with bags as lots of stairs but they helped massively!

“Ok for a 3 night's stay”

We had a triple room facing the Jungle swimming pool and surrounded by lizards and beautiful wildlife, however we went for our honeymoon and found ourselves in the middle of American Spring breakers, which was a bit underwhelming for us. Selina is a classic beach resort with 3 swimming pools, a wellness dedicated deck where you can practice yoga, pole dance, and other activities. We liked that Selina would be a good place for digital nomads and students. It offers a communal kitchen and dining area, laundry service (a little pricy, in my opinion), and the amenities listed above, so a good place to stay and work or study.

“Great stay for solo travelers to make new friends”

This is a great place if you are travelling solo. I met lots of great people and we did some tours together. The facilities are amazing with 3 pools and lovely spaces to hang out. The location in Manuel Antonio is great too. Very close to the National Park, the beach and restaurants. It gives you the feeling of being in the middle of the jungle.

“Great hostel”

The property was in a great location and was set into the hill / jungle so you got to see amazing wildlife right from your room. It had multiple pools, 1 with music / near the bar and 2 quieter which was nice. The wellness centre offered several classes and the trainer was great. The activities put on by the Selina were fun and social but you could also escape them if you wished. Our private room was spacious and had a decent shower.

Solo Traveller. Private Suite. Largest room I stayed in. Lovely and spacious. Double bed kitchenette, good sized bathroom, and a spare single bed. Perfect location - quiet yet busy enough area with plenty of food options (may need a taxi for some as hilly area and in the heat its hard work). The hostel has a restaurant opposite with great food and cocktails - also a fun aeroplane themed bar (slightly expensive but amazing for the sunset views). Easy walk down to the public beach (16-20mins approx - harder on the way up!) 3 pools so you can choose your vibe and there is always space (lots of gorgeous birds, monkeys and wild life around too). Probably the most social Selina I stayed at in CR and met some lovely people. All ages- families, solo travellers, couples. Completely safe and easy to navigate. Felt more like a hotel than a hostel! Would highly recommend.

Great location and fabulous space where you can get quiet time away from the main areas. Loved the nature surrounding us!

The stuff was really nice and helpful. They have a lot of activities for free, such as salsa class. There are 3 pools and they have a good restaurant. We were also really lucky and our last morning there we saw a lot of monkeys on the trees!! They were so cute!!

“Beautiful hotel/hostel”

I booked a double room with a shared bathroom and got upgraded to a double room with a privat bathroom. The staff was really nice and helpful. I LOVED the whole hostel area, it was so beautiful and has a lot to offer - 3 pools, which I enjoyed since I love chilling at different places and a yoga deck (which I actually used every night to do a workout since no one else was using it). They also offer free sports classes and other activities. The restaurant has many options (and what I ate was super delicious) and the hostel is well located. I only takes a few min by bus and you are at the main beach and there are many restaurants around.
