“Nice hostel in a prime location”

Pretty hostel with a very convenient location - a couple of minutes walk to the Manuel Antonio park and to the beach. Very friendly staff. Room is very basic but you get what you pay for. It didn't matter to me that there was no hot water as the weather was very hot in May. Breakfast was nice, on the third day there was a bit of choice. There is an onsite restaurant with a good variety of dishes and reasonable prices.

Although the rooms are cery small and vasic the place is amazing!very good location, just 5 min from oark entrance, you’re sourranded by the jungle,and jungle voices and birth wake you up in the morning-it’s almost like sleeping in the park!The food was also very good (enormous breakdfast).

“Fantastic stay in Manuel Antonio”

Great restaurant, we had an sit conditioned room. Shared bathroom facilities were immaculately clean. Host was friendly and helpful Excellent location 5 minute walk to trailhead Manuel Antonio park

“We loved it”

The host was extremely helpful. We got free towels and they offered to store the leftovers of our meals in the restaurant’s fridge in order to eat them the following day. Both the common toilets and the room were very clean. Great location, very central but not on the main road so it was quiet. 5 min walking from the national park and from the main beach. Fair prices at the restaurant, the meals were absolutely fine.

Perfect location. A very short walk to the bus stop to the town, restaurants, a couple of small supermarkets and the National Park entrance. We chose the double room with air conditioning and are glad we had it as it was very hot when we stayed. The bed was comfortable. The room was very small but we only used it to sleep. The wifi signal was good. The included breakfast was great and very filling. Food from the cafe was lovely and well priced. Oscar was a friendly and helpful proprietor who kept me topped up with mugs of boiled water for tea. It was quiet at night so easy to sleep. The main beach and National Park beaches were lovely to swim in.

Good location for the beach and the national park. The staff are great and the owner is friendly and helpful., The wildlife. Park is within easy walking distance too. The cold showers are great too, as you really want one due to the heat.

“Great position”

Best thing about this hostel is definitely the position - just few minutes away from the park (when eating at the restaurant you could see the monkeys just from there overlooking the beach). The beach is just few minutes walking. Breakfast was fairly good. They give you a towel free of charge as long as you return it at check out.

“Lovely food, perfect location.”

The location is perfect so close to the entrance of the park and the best beach along the pacific coast of Costa Rica! The breakfast was incredible two courses!! The staff were amazing and very kind and attentive especially the guy that works out the front at breakfast and dinner time; we didn’t catch his name!

Good location, very close to Manuel Antonio National Park and the beach. Nice atmosphere and good food in the restaurant. Oscar was polite and tried to address my complaint.

“Enjoyed our stay, but can get quite hot at night.”

The location of the hostel is perfect for staying in Manuel Antonio. It's only a few meters from the beach and the entrance of the national park. The rooms are basic, a bed and a chair, no A/C which can be quite hot at night. There is a fan in the room but it's quite loud so we didn't use it at night. Usually we didn't have to wait for the showers and toilets. The restaurant that you have to pass to get out of the hostel has good and affordable food.

“Fantastic service, location and value for money”

Incredible location, couldn't be better as it's just off the main strip of beach so you're not hounded by the noise. Oscar was a wonderful host and the restaurant team. Good smoothies and great big breakfast. Felt very safe. Lovely air conditioned room, comfy bed and pillows.
