Las Cascadas is a boutique aparthotel in a beachfront town surrounded by wildlife. It offers scuba diving, flying boat tours and waterfall abseiling. There is also a pool with a waterfall and comfortable lounge area with free WiFi. Guests at Condotel Las Cascadas can visit Manuel Antonio National Park, just an 8-minute drive from the hotel. Nahome Oceanfront Park is just 4 minutes' walk away. The spacious suites at Las Cascadas have air conditioning and wood interiors, decorated with tropical plants. Some also have free WiFi access, kitchen facilities or panoramic views. You can walk to central Quepos in just 5 minutes, where you can find a range of restaurants, shops and a casino. Location was amazing and surrounded by tropical jungle with an incredible array of wildlife. Also Dylan (owner) and Madeleine were so nice and went out of their way to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as possible, from booking trips, helping with queries and spotting wildlife for us! Thank you!

“Avoid it”
The worst “hotel” I have ever stayed in, if it can even be called a hotel at all. The moment you enter the room, you are hit by an incredibly strong smell of mold. Everything is moldy and blackened. The furniture looks like it’s from my great-grandmother’s time. Considering the prices, I honestly don’t understand how absolutely nothing has been invested in renovation. The bed creaks, the mattress is sunken and slanted, and the wardrobes are extremely old. The bathroom is completely covered in mold. The air conditioner rattles and makes loud popping noises that wake you up countless times during the night. There is absolutely no light — in the bedroom they have put up black curtains, and I honestly felt like I was in a moldy cave. That’s it about the room. Out of the six nights we stayed, for three days in a row no one cleaned the room or replaced the towels. When my husband went to the reception to ask why no one had come to clean the room, the response was: “We have no idea why.” They didn’t even apologize. The attitude toward guests is zero. There is absolutely no interest from the staff. Hearing that this is supposed to be a family hotel shocked me even more, because their complete lack of concern for their guests is unacceptable. As for breakfast, you are forced to choose between tea/coffee or juice. Which, in my opinion, is extremely cheap, petty, and unwelcoming. We couldn’t wait to leave this rotten place. I cannot say a single good word about it. Just avoid this hotel if you want to have a pleasant and relaxing vacation.

Good location if you want to be able to walk into Quepos. The service was excellent - really friendly welcome and good communication by what’s app before arrival and help booking tours (we booked a tour of Manuel Antonio park via the hotel and it was great). Quirky and original design.

Tree Top Honeymoon Dome
Our Dome Honeymoon suite is a novelty. This is a dome shaped structure mounted on a huge deck looking over the Las Cascadas project, the Terrazu Mountains and partial Ocean View.. Once under the dome, you’ll find a king-sized bed and a kitchenette, an en-suite bathroom with a tub-shower combination as well as a huge terrace with a 280° panoramic view, your own BBQ and lounge furniture. Since the Dome Suite has been built tucked into an animal corridor you can expect to see monkeys and other animals, not to mention the great variety of birds that feed from the trees and plants. Do please note, this suite is not for everyone. It is on one of the highest points of the property, so it is only recommended for Romantic Adventurers. Not recommended for anyone with even minor mobility problems or pregnant women. Don´t worry about your luggage as we’ll look after that for you. Let the monkeys be your cheering squad on your trek up to the top.
