Overview
Scaravelli:Residenza is in one of Mantua’s most historic squares, located in a restricted traffic area directly opposite Palazzo della Ragione and its beautiful clock tower. Rooms are beautifully decorated and offer free WiFi. Named after the square it is found in, Scaravelli:Residenza is housed in a 16th-century building. It is situated right next to the stunning Basilica of Sant’Andrea, one of Mantua’s most important sights. Each room offers air conditioning, a private bathroom with bath or shower, and a minibar. Suites have balconies or terraces, with views of the square. Check-in and reception takes place at the restaurant Scaravelli. This is located under the clock tower, and serves meals with a jazz music background.

Huge room. Excellent AC. Perfect central location and yet no nighttime noise. Huge breakfast of freshly baked croissants and freshly made sandwich. Best in room coffee maker I’ve ever had.

“Super location, well renovated, clean and efficient service”
The location is almost unbeatable, just at the heart of the town. Room pleasant, comfortable though the bathroom was not really private. The breakfast is brought to the rooms, great quality and complete continental one a pity that a proper table is missing as there is a desk not ideal for eating on it

“Lovely stay in the historic centre of Mantova”
The location is spot on, in the historic centre of Mantova. The room is newly furbished, all in white, super comfy bed very clean and excellent lighting, big bathroom with all you need. We had to leave early so they gave us our breakfast basket in the evening for the next morning. The room has a fridge and a coffee/ tea maker, so everyhting was perfect.

Well can you say about the location. It has to be the best spot on the square in the centre of town. Great coffees and treats downstairs and pizza by the slice. We will stay there again next time we travel to Mantova.

Very comfortable, newly refurbished suite (we were upgraded) on one of the main squares. Check-in instructions from Booking were outdated - it's now on the other side of the square - but we found it easily enough. Breakfasts are delivered to the door in a bag to be eaten in the room. They're quite substantial, but may lack variety if staying for more than a couple of days. Bathroom and shower roomy and good, though the design of the sink results in water splashing on the floor.

“Will definitely go back”
Beautiful old property done up with style and respect. Room and Bathroom are perfect size with that Waouw effect as you go in. Perfect town centre location so close to everything important.
