I visited Mantua as an old man traveling alone. The owner of the cervetta was kind and came to pick me up at the station. The hotel was located in an old narrow alley on the east side of the Doge's Palace. It seems like it hasn't been open yet, so the furniture and bathroom are new. The interior is fantastic and may be more suited to female customers. Breakfast is apartment-style, and you can make it yourself using the ingredients and cooking utensils provided. Ingredients were also plentiful. I've been to Italy several times, but opening a door and seeing medieval walls and alleyways was a rare experience. The next day I was in Verona, but I would have stayed longer if the schedule wasn't so tight. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Cervetta.

The owners were absolutely wonderful. So nice and helpful. The room was great, super spacious and they provided us with the biggest selection of breakfast foods and fresh fruits ever. Great bathroom and comfy beds! We really enjoyed our stay here and their restaurant recommendation was the best of our trip.

Very kind and helpful hosts, the appartment is very clean and comfortable, right in the center and close to all main attractions. The breakfast was also good, with selection of different sweet pastry, yogurt, juices and fresh fruit. We highly recommend this appartment.

Every single detail of La Cervetta shows that Luigino and his lovely wife put their hearts into making their guests’ stay in Mantua the most comfortable, pleasant and enjoyable.
