1. Great breakfast under the arches of an old stable - savoury and sweet items, including eggs. home made cakes, yoghurt, coffee made to order, fresh fruit, smallgoods. 2. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, and we had no trouble getting different pillows when the original ones didn't suit. 3. The hosts were generous and gracious, chatting with us at breakfast, helping with our bags and inviting contact if we had issues. 4. No fridge in the room but a small fridge with cold water just outside in the passage. 5. Good restaurant nearby - simple but tasty food. 6. From our bedroom window we looked out onto a peaceful green field.

The accommodation is located in a very nice and peaceful place outside the center of Mantova, but this was absolutely OK for us, because we were travelling by car. It was important for us that we can park our car for free. Very atmospheric place with the building of the old farm, very green, quite and groomed, with a small swimming pool, which can be used by the quests. The room was clean, made in rustic style and had everything necessary. The breakfast was served on the terrace and was very good for Italy, with tasty bread, butter, eggs, ham, cheese and delicious house-made pies.

Placed in an old farmhouse structure a bit outside of Mantova city the place offers an unique experience. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful.The room was big and to our surprise they have a nice outdoor pool. The breakfast delivers a perfect start into the day. Don’t miss their own baked bread and cakes! Delicious! Be aware that the rooms are equipped with historical (old) furniture. It fits perfect into the architecture but was not meant to be hotel proof. And since you are on a farm be prepared for flies, mosquitos and other insects.

“Beautiful accommodation in a quiet environment with a unique atmosphere”

The accommodation is located on a former farm/manor and thanks to this it has a unique (and quiet) atmosphere. The equipment is new in contrast to the renovated historical furniture. The owner is friendly and helpful. The accommodation also includes a swimming pool (a cap is required), a garden and a private parking lot behind the gate directly on the property. We also had breakfast included in the price, which was not the richest, but it was compensated by its quality. We really liked the accommodation and can recommend it.

The location was bucolic, the buildings and fields very pretty. The quality of the breakfast was high (however, see comment below).
