“Polite and generous management!”

Extremely kind and helpful staff and management. They could not accommodate me in the hotel proper, but I was offered a fabulous room in the very heart of the city for the same price. Even my luggage was transported there and back to the station free of charge. On top of that I was provided with some super breakfast buffet in a real Italian palace! Couldn't ask for more! :-)

Loved this hotel! It is slightly dated but very clean, quiet, has a lift, and the staff were wonderful! Just across the street from the train station and a 10 min walk into Mantova. Excellent value for money.

Great hotel that's convenient both for the train station and the old town of Mantova. Staff were friendly, and it is possible to leave your bag at reception if you arrive early or leave late -- though my room was ready anyway even though I arrived before the official checkin time. My room was small but comfortable, and fairly quiet despite being near the station.

The location was very good on the main road and easy to get to the city center. The house where the hotel is located is quite nice one from the good old days where you could see how the city was developing.

There was a strange and annoying smell in the room, coming from the bathroom. The staff said it was normal and there was nothing they could do.

Reception was very helpful. Showed me where to park my motorcycle and gave good clear instructions in English as to which doors to use and how to open them at night when reception doors were closed. Very helpful in a practical way
