“Host canceled booking last minute, leaving us to search for an alternative at 9PM”

Our booking got canceled at the last minute by the host who did not react to phone calls or was at the apartments location. We booked in the afternoon with the expectation to check in about 3 to 4 hours later. After calling 10 times and waiting for two hours the host sent us a SMS saying that he/she just canceled - and a nice "thanks" instead of a "sorry". Dear host, please change your settings if you cannot manage same day bookings, and at least say sorry.

Located in a quiet residential area, but very close to the historic centre of Mantova, Casa San Domenico is a beautifully preserved old building with excellent facilities. Excellent value for money.

“Great position and nice decor, not very comfy”

The location is great, possibility of parking in the garage is highly appreciated, the decor of the house and apartment is beautiful, especially the bathroom and AC much needed during the summer. The coffee and water in the kitchen was a nice touch.

We loved the apartment - spacious and beautifully decorated. The living area and bathroom were stunning. Just a little odd was the corridor and stairs that ran between the two lockable parts of the apartment (bedroom/bathroom and living/kitchen. The location was excellent, an easy walk from the railway station, and quiet despite its location close to cafes, shops, etc. Living room windows looked out on a small but pretty piazza with excellent cafe/bar. We should have stayed longer than 3 nights. Matteo was a very good host.

Great location, the host was very accommodating and came to let me in to leave my luggage. The Suite I had (top floor) was very spacious.

Fantastic apartments at a beautiful location in Mantova. Spacious, clean and cozy, total surprise, both the house and the town. Mateo is perfect host who even helped us with a garage for our car.

The location was excellent- easy to walk to the majority of the sites we wanted to visit. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Quiet. Isabella and Matteo were very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

“Hidden gem in the heart of Mantova”

A hidden gem in the very heart of Mantova. located in a building from the 15th century, the project of renovation has given new life to the building opening it to hospitality while fully respecting and valuing its historical elements. We were upgraded to the largest flat which is just stunning. The living room, decorated with attention and quality is full of light and has windows and a balcony facing on an open square from where you can observe the life of the city. Perfect location close to the main attraction and full facilities for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen is well equipped with crockery for dining in, the bathroom is large and well equipped. The bedroom is silent, facing the inner court. The host was very helpful, they also granted us a late check in. If you are lucky enough to get it during the literature festival you will notice that also many authors joining the event overtime staid here.

Interesting and beautiful room in Central Mantova. Early check-in was a big plus. The apartment was nicely decorated, and it was fun and different. Having your own floor was a fun detail. Really enjoyed my stay here and definitely would like to stay here again if coming back to Mantova.
