“A nightmare”

Don’t go here!!!!! Although the island is beautiful and the rooms are ok, we were so happy when we could finally leave. We live in Santo Domingo, so we are used to the Dominican “tranquilo” and we live life as chilled as the Dominicans. But this hotel went further than being relaxed and showed clearly that they just do not care at all about you, as long as you give them their money…and especially the lady who owns it and the staff were horendous. The staff is an absolute horror. They are incompetent, they do not care, they are rude and when they make mistakes, they blame it on customers and become agressive. We have asked for 5 times during a day for towels that we had paid for, and we eventually never got them. We ordered food, but they did not have anything and if we asked what they had that we could order (we were flexible, some rice and water would have been enough), they did not know what they had in their fridge and did not want to check. We waited two times for over 3(!) hours to receive our mediocre and very overpriced food. And within these 3 hours they literally forgot 4 times what we had ordered and when they asked us, they said “that we were not clear enough”. We understand that prices are higher, since it is on a remote island, but this was just an absolute scam. 650 pesos for a lemonade which was made out of syrup and water is not ok. They try to rip you off whenever they can. We finally got a boat back through local people for 1000 pesos per person. A couple that booked it through the hotel paid 80 US dollar for the same ride in the boat with us! We saw this same couple crying and shouting the night before, since they felt they were being scammed by the hotel. Normally, we do not write with such strong words and we are really not picky or spoiled. But here there should be drawn a line. Please do not go here!

The location and the outside interior is super nice. The house is on the beach and there are nice hammocks and sunbeds for chilling out. I can not provide a review of the rooms, etc since I was not able to see them. From the outside it seems to be a nice place. The location is really great!

“The island worse this accommodation”

This hotel is probably the best accommodation you can get on the island. It’s pretend to be European style with beautiful modern design. Very friendly staff. They’re trying to do all the best…but in Dominican style :) very relaxed and not in a hurry to prepare your order or clean the room. Very beautiful beach with sunbeds and hammock where you can chill.

“Unbelievable beach and great stay!”

Everything! Location is beautiful, it’s right in front of an amazing beach. Plus, the beach is just for you in the morning (no people). The town is right there, but it’s super small. Food was amazing, we were not expecting that! Tasty, fresh food. The hostess Gabriela was super nice, she even managed to get some cake to sing happy birthday to my mother-in-law. My 2-year old loved the place. I highly recommend it!
