Very kind and helpful hosts, a beautiful house on the island of Saona. Delicious food at normal prices. You feel at home, the owner Juan offers a transfer with his own boat and makes sure that you don't miss anything. I recommend with both hands, it's a different great experience

We stayed for three nights and everything went great. The most amazing thing about this piece of paradise is the people. Carlos and his staff are really warm and welcoming. Another very positive aspect is the kitchen Miou (sorry I don't know how to spell it exactly) cooks deliciously. Everything flows in a relaxed and very pleasant rhythm. Thank you for everything

This accommodation is a true gem, offering a warm, inviting atmosphere and a cozy feel that's among the best on the island. Juan Carlos and his team take excellent care of the property and their guests, providing delicious, freshly prepared meals. They also offer a variety of activities, including bikes, paddleboards, and scooters. Also, the convenient boat transfer to and from the island, along with excellent communication via WhatsApp, was a definite plus too! Highly recommended! I can't wait to return.

Everything was just perfect! On a scale of 1 to 10, 15 points do not honour Juan’s kindness. Not only an excellent host but a human being full of values who really makes you feel HOME!!! I’d definitely be back 100 times!!! Bonus: the lobster was simply delicious! The best one I’ve ever tried! And Marie takes care of you as if you were her son! Gorgeous experience!

Great place with all the comfort to spend a good time. I definitely recommend. Very welcoming staff. Maria & Carlos who were a great host and did everything they could to make out stay memorable.

Juan Carlos is a Swiss/Spanish nice and easy going guy. He is a perfect host. I felt really comfortable in his house. He made sure I had a great and genuine experience in my short time in the island, and treated me as a friend. He was kind enough to provide breakfast, lunch and dinner at a very fair price. Same for boat transportation to the island. It was great to walk around and share some talks with him. The place is simple, as I would expect for an small island, but tidy and clean. The washroom is private, and it is outside the room. Don’t expect a hotel room. He also let me use, as a courtesy, his standup board, snorkel and bicycle. You could also rent for a very fair price his little moto. Don’t forget your repellent as I did. Juan has a nice little dog Mandy which fast will be your friend. I highly recommend the place, and I really hope I can come back! Finally, you pay the accommodation and other things you consume with cash only, so bring enough cash, as you won’t have ATMs around. Don’t leave your garbage behind!

The owners are very nice and helpful, trying to accommodate you as best as possible. The place is very clean and they are serving also food. They can do private transportation to and from Bayahibe at a very good price, which is awesome.

“The best and most unique experience we ever had”

Absolutely everything! The host took such good care of us, as other guests have said previously, we felt like home. If you expect luxury, this is not the place for you. The island is not a place for you. Come here for an amazing experience of feeling far from noise, civilization and enjoy calmness. If we ever come back to the island, we are definitely staying here again. The little doggy Mindy was absolutely adorable!

“The best place on Saona island!”

Juan has been helpful from the very start, providing directions on how to get to the island on a public boat. From the moment we arrived to the property we were looked after by Juan and Maria, and it really felt like we were visiting friends rather staying at the hotel. Breakfast and dinner were cooked by Jaun and Maria themselves, the best fish we had in DR! Oh and there is an AC which isnt offered at every hotel on the island. Thank you very much, we loved Casa Mano Juan!
