“Wonderful birdwatching paradise in top class comfort”
The Palmyrah was just fabulous. We loved everything about it including the egret who came and fished in the pond while we had breakfast. The layout was gorgeous, our room beautiful and enormous, the gardens lush and well-kept and the food was excellent. Best of all were the staff who were so warm, polite and welcomng.

This is an exceptionally good hotel - great staff, excellent food location spectacular - architecture of hotel fantastic, great pool and a real pleasure to be a quest at Naturalist superb ( Indiga - hope I have spelt this correctly) - a bird guide of real excellence and very good company in walks and visits to birding areas - very knowledgeable about photography as well as birds

“Overall it was a pleasant stay will definitely go again.”
We stayed two nights on the way to Jaffna late December. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The food was from a set menu but so tasty. The location was about 20minutes from the Mannar town. Excellent for bird watching. There was plenty of birds in the property and around the hotel.

“Very special place for birders”
The staff was very helpfull and frendly. We loved the bathroom en terrace. The room was perfect. Palmyrah is a special place. We loved it. Even off season it is a good place for birding. Food is good.

“comfortable BUT BAD PRICE TO QUALITY RATIO, totally overpriced, hot shower did not work properly.”
Quiet place, balcony was lovely and quiet as in the picture, dinner was relaxing and romantic but overall the hotel is very expensive in comparison to anything else we paid in the country for lesser quality (no pression when hot water)
