The staff were amazing and the kitchen catered to our needs and changed the menu for my wife as she doesn't eat fish. The Hotel owner makes you almost feel like family rather than just a guest. We would recommend the Hakkei Hotel to anyone we loved our stay and it was just what we needed after a bust schedule travelling around Japan.

“Onsen facilitates are generally unacceptable.”
employees are very helpful and pleasant. My booking was a room with shower and Onsen, but we were given a room without shower in the room. After discussion, our room was changed to one with shower.

We had their dinner and breakfast, both are wonderful. Staff super friendly and fluent with English which is great a help for me. Location is perfect. We've had a great time, thank you.

“Well done”
Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Staff were very friendly, attentive and proactive towards our needs, especially the lady boss who was very friendly. They have many staff who spoke English. On the day we checked out, they recommended us to visit a small village (出雲街道) next to the Sayo station to see the beautiful cherry blossom. I have to say thank you for their recommendations as we enjoyed it very much.

Best customer service and hospitality ever. The staff were super attentive and proactive towards our needs and all very friendly. Dinner was also fantastic. We enjoyed the family onsen and the free outdoor one too. The room was really spacious and there was a kotatsu too!
