The room was spacious and very clean perhaps because it's new. You get a shower cubicle instead of a bathtub. I also like the fact that there is a separate toilet. In most Japanese business hotels, the toilet and bathtub are squeezed into a tiny space. The bed is very high, which is great for my husband as he is tall. The free tea and coffee area in the hotel lobby is also very nice. It's very clean and disposable utensils and crockery are provided.

“Picturesque and beautifully designed hotel”

the hotel was beautifully designed esp the lobby and common area. free drinks and miso soup too. seats were perfect for some zen time in front of the lovely snowscape in front of us. room was cleverly designed with the sliding panel that converted the area (where sink and toilet were) into an enlarged toilet for changing clothes since the actual bathroom was small.

Very new hotel, access to kitchen and extra living space made our stay extra comfortable and complimentary coffee was an unexpected bonus! Very clean, our stay was very comfortable and we had a nice few of a snow covered hill from our room. The reception staff were welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond to provide us with information about things to see in the surrounding area.

Everything, I truly enjoyed my stay here.

“Great stay for traveling to Hiruzen area”

There is a dining area, kitchen facility (oven, microwave) and complementary coffee in the lobby. The room is spacious and the pillows were amazingly comfortable.

“Very comfortable, very affordable, very "why is this here?"”

I can't figure out why this hotel is even here - it's (almost) everything you would expect from a modern western hotel, just in the middle of nowhere. Obviously very recently built, inexplicably large for what seems like a pretty out of the way place. The facilities are good, the fittings and room design are very contemporary. I just have no idea who stays here or who thought such a hotel was necessary in Hiruzen.... Also, the room was ridiculously cheap, probably the cheapest accommodation of our whole trip, but still some of the nicest. Anyway, our room was spacious and comfortable. We managed to do some washing in the coin laundry, and there's a free coffee machine in the lounge which was welcome come breakfast time. Speaking of breakfast, the one thing this hotel doesn't really have is meals. You can buy simple stuff like instant noodles during the day, but otherwise you have to sort your own meals out. Thankfully, the staff have a printed list of local eateries and provided good recommendations. There's also a tsuruya across the road if you are feeling lazy. 7-11 is about 2 mins drive away.

The common areas and rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff are also courteous and helpful’ we had a great stay at this property!

Clean and tidy room, excellent location to nearby sights, professional staff giving good advice on restaurants and supermarkets around. Excellent service on proving bath towels for onsen use. Kitchen and common place are good

practical and really nice rooms, very comfortable beds, everything completely new and clean, cool and modern style, a great coffee machine in the lobby, very friendly staff, really good value for the price - especially if you are happy with a good shower and do not need a bath tub :-)
