Mamma Lucia is fantastic 🙌 We was allowed early check in and could have the bikes inside. The room was big with very good bed. And the breakfast was the best in our bike trip in Puglia. She also prepared very nice alternatives for food allergy. And she wrapped in delicios caces for us for our journey. Fantastic service and stay. We recomend it warmly 🥰

Giussi, the hostess, was extremely helpful. The breakfast could not have been better. Giussi even wrapped more cakes for us to take on our bikes for later. We parked our bicycles at a safe place. Highly recommended

“Wonderful, special stay.”

Wonderfully welcoming host. The room was simple but this is what we expected for the price. It was clean and an effort had been made to give it a personal touch. Breakfast was special. A lovely fire was in the stove which made it feel like home. Among the usual breakfast fare our hostess offered home-made cake, and the cappuccino was superb. As a special present we were given pastries at the end of breakfast to take along. They were delicious. She also gave us various recommendations for dinner the previous night. Overall we very much felt like special guests.

300m from centre. Excellent service here, the host, Giusi, went above and beyond. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Reasonably priced too. The rooms are modest but clean. Private bathrooms for each room.

It was well situated. Clean comfortable and spacious. The owners were so kind and helpful and nothing was a problem for them. The breakfast was perfect and they cater to your needs. Lovely room, comfortable bed and en-suite bathroom, separate breakfast room great breakfast with home made pastries and cake. Brilliant use of phone voice app translation made communication easy. Manduria is a lovely town to visit with good food and wine suggestions from our host and some lovely buildings to visit. Would recommend highly to other traveler’s and visitors .

What an amazing stay. A fantastic location in Manduria, a lovely comfortable room, a great breakfast, and most importantly, amazing hosts! They couldn’t do enough to help me on my first short stay in Manduria, help with transport, restaurant recommendations, even helping me with ironing my suit for a wedding! Thank you for your kindness and caring hospitality

The staff went out of their way to help us; they even drove us to the site of a wedding we were attending when we learned there were no taxis in town. Amazing!

We loved everything about our stay with Mamma Lucia. Fast and clear communication, a heartily welcome and a very neat and hygienic room! Giusi gave us many tips to explore the neighbourhood. She prepared us a wealthy breakfast with delicious home made pasticciotto (a local pastry). She and her husband helped us finding a beach place where we could sit out the heat of that day and they let us take fruit and snacks. We had such a lovely and welcoming stay and can’t imagine giving any score below the maximum! We will be back here ☺️

Very nice place in the center of Manduria. Nice and friendly host. Breakfast included, coffee as you wish. Very clean room and bathroom. Television and free internet. Room with aircondition. You have to get used to parking like in Italy ;)

As we have seen in another review, do not hesitate a second to book a room at Mamma Lucia! Our stay at Mamma Lucia was absolutely amazing. Starting with picking us up from the train station in the evening, prompt and clear communication to prepare the check in, quickly answering all our questions. We were very warmly welcomed with a tour of the city with their beautiful Vintage Fiat 500, including great pictures of us with and without the car in relevant spots of the town and a visit to a local winery (please try the Primitivo di Manduria wine, it's so good). Breakfast every morning of our stay was amazing and with so much option (including a delicious homemade cake, fresh fruit, fresh local pastries, yoghurt, milk, coffee, juice..... and more), with full serving. A true gem! Bedroom was big, the bed & pillows were very comfy, very well equiped and tidy. All bedrooms have a private bathroom, also equiped with hairdryer, which for me was a plus. Each day, our beds and towels were tidied up, so we were always coming into a tidy room. They also provide shuttle services to and from the beautiful nearby beaches, with prior booking (consult for prices, depending on beach distance). Finally, our hosts were so kind, caring and friendly! They were well prepared to efficiently communicating with us and was still possible to have some nice conversations about Manduria, while riding together. it's a B&B , but we can surely say it's even better than a hotel. They gave us tips on what to do and where to eat/ drink, making our stay the best possible. We were actually sad we had to leave.

nestled in a quiet street, it offers the perfect balance of access to the main streets but is quiet enough to have a good night’s sleep. It was clean, the homemade cake at breakfast was amazing and the bedroom had everything, all in good working order.

The property was exceptionally clean with superb facilities and convenient to the town centre of Manduria. Our hosts were very welcoming and we had the bonus of Giusi being a great cook and the food she presented for breakfast was delicious. Also Salvo offered to take us personally around the area sightseeing but unfortunately we didn’t have time to fit it in with our schedule.
