The resort is located on a very small island that is not overdeveloped and with small number of villas to rent. All that leaves the impression that you are the only person on the whole island so you can really enjoy your privacy.The rooms are kept very clean and the food is delicious.

There is nothing we could improve or criticise. Everything was exceptional - perfect service & kind staff, excellent food, beautiful small island, great diving. Mirihi truly deserves 5/5 stars! For us it was the second visit, but we met so many repeaters that were there for the 10th or even more time. We will come back as well for sure! We have been to quite a number of islands before and Mirihi is really unique - it offers the highest quality without being snobby. The guests are mostly swiss and germans and a big part of them are scuba divers. This is also important for having a nice experience. No noisy alcohol drinking folks or other kind of reckless rich primitives who believe the world belongs to them (not saying that those can’t be swiss or german). Fortunatelly there were also very few small children. Nothing can ruin your holiday more than having a family with 2 small kids next door (especially in a beach villa)!

“Small paradise in the middle of the Indian Ocean”

I will start like this. Once upon a time in the middle of the Indian Ocean appeared and island called Mirihi, is as beautiful as its name which it took after the flowers called Mirihi We were felling ourselves in paradise where we had amazing food, unforgettable reef full of fishes, sharks, stingrays and turtles . We were enjoying amazing beaches with white sand , birds walking around . I want to say that staff in the island are the most friendly people, specially F&B manager who was so helpful and thanks to him for taking such good care about us. Chef who cooks foos like God, Rauf that was all the time there for us and made us feels at home, I hope one day he will become Guest manager as he was talking care of us like his best friends. I forgot the name of the person in the dining room who was making me ginger monitor for breakfast) he was always smiling and making nice jokes The only bad thing that happened it was small plantation that caused me severe rush but doctor took the best care of me and all staff was so nice and bringing me food in the room so to make me feel better Out villa 34 had amazing view and was always clean, it had the best reef amongst all the others in the island I strongly recommend this place if u want to disconnect from every day life and join small island that will open you door to underwater paradise with people whose heart make you feel so welcome. You need to go there …. I will always have small part of this small island that made me feel so happy in my heart PS Also special thanks to F&abs manager who found me chocolate at midnight when due to my rush I wanted to eat some chocolates

Mirihi is a very beautiful place and it feels like in heaven at the moment when I arrived there. It is a island where you can live without shoes. (It feels so good to walk on the soft sand). The staff and people there are super nice and friendly.(I nearly cried when I said good bye). The beach and the sea are perfect! A perfect place for diving and snorkeling. (I saw sharks and lots of fishes!) The food is very nice as well! Well, it takes pages to write all the things which I like. In short, As unique as Mirihi! It’s a place you will love for sure! As a solo traveler, I have had great experiences at Mirihi! Miss there already!

“A very relaxing place to be.”

Mirihi Island Resort was truly a relaxing and fun experience for me and my family. When I researched possible resorts I noticed the high ratings visitors gave the resort. The island itself is small and cozy and the limited number of bungalows (39 in total) gives it an air of exclusivity. The water bungalows are very comfortable with large bathrooms are spacious showers. The rooms and bathrooms overlook the private deck, which leads to the sea. The island has two restaurants, Dhonveli and Muraka. All day dining is offered at Anba Bar. Overall food offered in this resort is very good thanks to chef Felix, who constantly reminds guests to enjoy the food and stop counting calories. All staff without exception were courteous and friendly. Many have been with the resort for years. Special mention to Mr. Yves who always came around during meals to make sure that we were happy with the food. The resort does not have a swimming pool nor does have extensive water sports activities such as jet skies and parasailing. But with kayaking snorkeling, windsurfing and white sandy beaches it more than makes up for the others. The reef around the island is the best in the area and the resort organizes two fishing trips every day around mid day and sunset. Complementary Yoga sessions are offered every morning and a meditation session in the afternoon. One of the best experiences we had was fishing. The resort offers two trips, mid day and sunset. We took both but caught the most during the sun set trip. The fish we caught was prepared for us for us at dinner time. Overall an excellent choice and when we add our luck to be at Mirihi when tortoise hatchlings were making their way to the ocean it made our experience all the more memorable.
