“A Perfect Two‑Week Escape in the Maldives – We Didn’t Want to Leave”

Our two-week stay at this Maldivian resort was, without exaggeration, the best vacation we’ve ever had. Everything about this place feels like a dream you never want to wake up from. The surrounding nature is breathtaking—turquoise water, soft white sand, and lush greenery everywhere you look. Every morning felt like stepping into a postcard. The island is beautifully maintained yet still feels wild and authentic. We truly appreciated the resort’s connection to local Maldivian culture. Whether through small cultural elements, activities, or interactions, it added depth to the vacation and helped us feel connected to the place beyond its natural beauty. Every meal was a highlight. Whether it was fresh seafood, themed dinner, or creative desserts, the quality and variety were outstanding. You can tell the chefs put a lot of care into every dish. The resort staff made our stay unforgettable. Special thanks definitely need to go to Larisa (having the warmest heart), Sittiran (making the best scrambled eggs that side of the planet), Arees (who was always happy for a friendly small talk), Najmul (never forgetting our favorite morning drink choice), Sohel (welcoming us with a kind smile every day) and Seyber (our guide to the local culture). But generally indeed everyone - from the reception to housekeeping to the restaurant teams - was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making guests happy. Their kindness really made the island feel like home. The dive center also deserves a special shout‑out. The team was knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about the underwater world. We explored vibrant reefs, met incredible marine life, and felt completely safe and supported throughout all activities.

The location and the resort are amazing. White beaches, lots of fish and clear water. Take shoes to get in the water as there are rocks, but it's where most of the fish are! The staff was incredibly polite and available all the time. They clean the room twice a day! Even the activities offered are nice, all depends on the weather of course, but we managed to go for a snorkeling trip, kayak and sunset cruise. The restaurant is very nice, good variety of dishes 😋 be aware of mosquitos! They do a fumigation every day but it's not enough. There is a recreation centre with table tennis, pool and other games as well as the bar (with amazing mocktails) and the pool area. You can go for a nice walk on the beach all the way to the end of the island. In the evening, lots of crabs come from the sand, but they are harmless. We really enjoyed our stay! Ps: Saabina at the restaurant was pur favourite, super polite and friendly!

- The alpha & omega of this resort is the staff. So friendly, smiling and willing staff I haven't experienced yet! From the cleaning service to the restaurant staff to the reception - all of them are very helpful and you have felt that they are only for you there! A huge praise for the personal manager who is in charge of this. - You often feel like the island is just for you. Great privacy. This is perfect for INTROVERTS. - Resort was very clean including beaches. - The village walk tour outside the resort was amazing and strongly recommend to you if you want to see how the local people live! Big thank to the Zee (If I remember correctly the name) from reception for a guide.

- Beach front room was very nice, modern and clean - It is a very beautiful and quiet island. I always found an empty part of the beach just for myself if wanted (It was not high season though) - No alcohol policy was Ok but very expensive moctails and non-alcoholic drinks. Water was included to lunch/dinner and they filled two bottles in my room twice a day. I appriciated that very much - Nice pool area and facilities

“Paradise Island. AKA Fiyavalhu Resort”

2 or 3 sentences can't sum up this delightful island. The wonderful and friendly staff. The facilities, food, service, including more excursions and watersports than I can mention. Go for the peace and tranquility and relaxing Spa treatments or for the amazing and exhilarating activities on offer. I stayed for 21 nights in September and it's an experience I would recommend to anybody; of any nationality, culture or religion. Fiyavalhu caters for everyone's individual needs. Rooms are cleaned at least twice a day + a turn down service in the evening. Whilst it is a non alcoholic island there is a Gin Palace called 'The Safari' moored approximately 20 meters off the jetty for those who enjoy a tipple. There is also a games room, well equipped gym and resort shop. The native barman at the bar situated by the infinity pool offers a very efficient poolside service and an amazing variety of fruit cocktails. Room service was available 24/7 and there is a well run concierge and reception service. I arrived at Male and took the domestic route (Internal flight + speedboat) and returned to Male via seaplane. I enjoyed both. To the many staff I now consider as friends and those who work silently behind the scenes to keep the resort beautiful, I thank you all. I simply can't name all of the pluses and am struggling to think of a single, justifiable negative!

We reviewed all resorts and came to the conclusion that our honeymoon was going to be at Fiyavalhu. It was the only resorts that met all criteria within our price range. And Fiyavalhu did not disappoint. The service was just amazing. Biggest highlight has to be the food. First off the chef, waiters and Food & Beverage Manager continued to check up on us daily to see if everything was good. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, all were perfect. There was a different menu every day full with meat/fish/vegan options. There were not many guests on the island so the resort was super private/exclusive and the service was personal. Everything we asked for was provided for no extra charge (UK->EU adapters, DEET mosquito spray). All sea plane travels were planned by the resort. We received clear and timely instructions on when to checkout and depart. All facilities were clean.

The rooms were modern and nice and the pillows were beyond comfortable. We had book the beach villas so the views were amazing. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do more for you. We met 3 members of staff who went above and beyond to make our experience (Sasha, Ashi and Ashee)
