“Lovely house, owner, and swimming beach.”
It’s very close to the lake with easy access to a stony beach for swimming, which was a blessing as it was very hot. There is a garden too. The house is fine. I liked it a lot. I had read some poor reviews of the facilities which initially put me off. But then I read them more closely and guessed that it might simply be people complaining about old furniture and plumbing , which are normal for an old house. Actually I prefer houses with character. Everything was great (we were three adults and three teenagers) and the host was extremely helpful. We had bought supplies in the supermarket on the way from the train station and we ate in the house, although one evening we walked along the coast into the old part of town for supper (a very pleasant walk). I can also recommend the walk up the river with lovely pools for swimming in summer).

The apartment was huge. The view was excellent. The host was magnificent. It might need a general cleaning soon but it is not that bad.

Nice stay near the mountains and Lake Como. Had our morning coffee in the yard and spent the afternoon hiking. The host was very accommodating and warm. We really enjoyed our stay there!
