“Excellent place to stay - best value for money”

Very well maintained heritage Haveli, 5-10 minutes walking time from main road. Traditional but cozy clean room, comfortable bed, large bathroom. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming but the one who - literally - stole our hearts was the owner (the most hospitable of all on this trip) with everything he did to serve us and make our stay truly unforgettable. Where he really outdid himself and left us speechless was when he offered us extra Gb on our sim card (when they had run out) and refused to pay him for their cost. We will certainly stay here again and we definitely recommend it to everyone!

“THE place to stay in Mandawa!!”

An amazing place to stay in Mandawa. This haveli is around 200 years old and beautifully maintained. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly cozy. The staff is impeccable, and I would highly recommend staying here.

Our stay here was amazing. The owner and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The place is cozy and you feel at home. It’s located in a good area and the Haveli is well maintained. What a beautiful place! Very lovely Haveli with a pretty courtyard which is ideal for relaxing. The room and bathroom in perfect condition and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. We are happy that we chose this place.

Our stay at Chobdar Haveli was truly comfortable and peaceful, we arrived after a long bus journey and the host welcomed us warmly with a pot of tea. The Chobdar is a beautifully renovated Haveli, with comfortable and spacious rooms. The breakfast was tasty and fresh. The host is super hospitable and helpful. He helped us to get on to our next journey, by showing us where to take the bus and even waited with us for half an hour until he made sure that we get on the bus. I would definitely stay there again :)

“Lovely haveli, recommend dinner.”

Lovely old haveli, the rooms are clean and the bathroom huge. We were offered a choice of rooms when we arrive, both were gorgeous. Tea and coffee was served and we drank them sitting on sofas in the communal coutyard area. I can really recommend having dinner at the hotel, it was cooked and served with care and it was delicious! We went up onto the roof after dinner to look out at the view.

It is a beautifully and sympathetically restored Haveli in the quiet backstreets of a fascinating small town. Our room was very spacious, with a huge bathroom and outside dedicated area in which to relax. It has a central courtyard, ideal in which to eat and to meet the other guests and the owner.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Chobdar Haveli. Our room was beautiful, the bathroom is clean and huge, the hotel was peaceful and calm. Staff is wonderful, we loved our Indian thali dinner at the hotel. Best value for money we found in India !

“A perfect stay”

A beautifully renovated property in Mandawa, walking distance to the bazaar. My room was absolutely spotless, not a speck of dust. Comfortable bed, kettle etc, beautifully decorated, and a terrific bathroom. I had a hot bath, a delight after months of backpacking. It’s a small hotel with a handful of rooms, and lovely dining nooks. I had a room adjoining a relaxing outside sitting nook. The foot tastes delicious and is beautifully presented, many thanks to Lal Singh the chef. The manager is welcoming and will help plan your visit. Don’t miss sunset from the rooftop too. I stayed two nights over Holi, I could have easily stayed longer.

Hotel Chobdar Haveli in Mandāwa is a great place. Behind its two peaceful haveli courtyards, it offers perfect hospitality and authentic style. The owner and staff go into great lengths to make your stay comfortable. Our room was a delight, breakfast and the (optional) dinner was generous and very good. Beautifully decorated Haveli with large & spacious rooms. Made to feel very comfortable & well looked after by the excellent host & staff Virender organised a tour of some of the Haveli’s with a guide for us. Make sure to have dinner here. All veg & all delicious made by a dedicated & generous cook. Loved ever minute here & Mandawa is an interesting & quiet little gem

Everything was amazing! From the very attentive staff, to the beautifully designed rooms and cleanliness, Chobdar Haveli is great for what you pay. The location is excellent but still tucked away from the busy Main Street of Mandawa.
