Excellent for fishing, hiking and other outdoor activities. We visited during the annual seafood fair in the nearby small town of Mandal.

Location

For the price of the rooms you would expect to have beds ready made, not just a pile of sheets. Also, we were not informed that the restaurant was closed that evening (apparently for a private event, but there was no event), it would have been very useful to know so we could have bought food to cook ourselves

Fantastic location. In front of a calm lake! A cozy wooden 2 bedroom house with balcony and amazing views!

Beatiful location, friendly staff, privacy of your own little cottage, our dog totally loved it and there were places to walk him.

Fantastic location with beautiful view and ability to explore by the area by rental boat. The upper swimming pool with cover for the kids was an ok temperature, just warm enough to swim for the kids. The apartment had a beautiful view from the balcony, was clean and spacious. Cosy couch and well equipped kitchen.

The amazing view next to the water it’s the only part that we enjoyed

We liked the cosy self catering cabins and the fantastic view . It was easy to drive into Mandal for provisions.

There were 24 degrees outside and the heater was on full when we entered the cabin - it was atleast 40 degrees in there - i told the staff and all they said it must have been an accodent and apologised - no fan was provided no refund no other alternative - it turned out there was a wet chair which the cleaner turned on the heater for to dry - no safety measures also. The terrace was full of spider webs even thou it is a part of the property it wasnt cleaned when you most expect to use it in summer.

“Highly recommended”

The location of the place is very nice, and also the look and location of the cabins next to the sea. The cabins are well equipped with kitchen stuff, microwave, dishwasher, coffe maker, tableware, etc. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel and the islands in front are very nice with beautiful houses. The place has a pool, sauna, store so you can buy groceries, and a restaurant (but was not open during my stay because of the season).

“Nice location, but a bit too expensive”

We arrived in the middle of August, all restaurants were closed. The children’s swimming pool was not very clean, and smelled a bit, one of the pools was closed. The view was nice, and personell was friendly. It was a bit expensive considering the restaurants were closed.
