“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BEST HOSTEL IN MÁNCORA – PERIOD.”

I originally booked 3 nights at Kinti Guest House. In the end, I extended my stay to 6 nights. Partly because my Bolivia plans fell apart, but mostly because this place was simply too good to leave. The heart and soul of the hostel is Denis, the owner. I have stayed in countless hostels around the world and I can honestly say that his warmth, hospitality and willingness to help are second to none. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and he genuinely cares about every guest staying here. Then there is Jessica, Denis' wife and the mastermind behind the kitchen. Together with Naty, their new assistant, they prepare some of the best breakfasts I have had during my entire South America trip. And here's a secret tip: Jessica is also an incredibly talented pastry chef. If you're lucky, ask Denis about her homemade treats. I tried homemade Snickers bars, pistachio cookies and other baked goods that would easily hold their own in a professional bakery. Absolutely unreal! The hostel itself is small, cozy and incredibly social. There are only around 12 guests at a time, which creates a very friendly atmosphere where it is easy to meet people. At the same time, it is almost always fully booked, so you never get that awkward feeling of being the only guest around. In fact, I was too slow extending my stay and ended up sleeping in three different rooms because everything kept selling out. My favorite by far was the "Miami" room. What I loved most is that Kinti manages to be perfect for both social travelers and people looking for peace and quiet. I came to Máncora looking for fun, parties and meeting people, and I found all of that. But if you simply want to relax and recharge, this place is equally perfect. The beach is only a short walk away. During the day you can enjoy the beach and even use the pool facilities at nearby hostels. At night, you can head out for drinks and parties if you want.

“Best Hostel ever”

It was the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The dorms are very clean, the beds are very comfortable, and there are curtains. The beds aren't attached to each other, so you don't feel a thing when someone else lies down. You get two very comfortable pillows and free towels. The bathroom is cleaned several times a day. The common area is great for meeting people and is always very clean. Mosquito repellent is always available. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, and they went to great lengths to even provide a vegan option for me. The host, Esteban, was absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. We were even invited back for breakfast a week later when we returned to Mancora and couldnt stay in kinti. Simply fantastic.

THE BEST HOSTEL IN LATIN AMERICA! Totally perfect breakfast (you can skip lunch:D) - you have always eggs (every day different) + bowl of fresh fruit+fresh juice+coffee+tea. The guy is so kind and helpful. Also you can do laundry for few money. Fast wifi. Its 5 mins from nice beach. Much better than we expected. It is really the best place where you can stay!

Great stay on this hostel. Good cost/benefit for a share facility. The greatest highlights: -The manager Esteban: super friendly, easy going and down to earth. He gave as well great tips for things to do and places to visit -The breakfast: every day different, but this breakfast is a must. Fantastic!

Very beautiful

“Amazing, peaceful stay in Mancora!”

This is a lovely little place in Mancora, and a perfect place to relax and access the beach. We arrived very early after a night bus and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Esteban, particularly, was so kind and helped us with lots of recommendations. Wish we had time to stay longer! (As said by all, the breakfast is also excellent each morning)

What a fantastic stay! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a super social and relaxed vibe that makes it easy to meet other travelers or just unwind. The guesthouse itself is cozy and inviting, with every detail thoughtfully done. And the breakfast—hands down the best I’ve ever had—fresh, delicious, and made with care. Truly felt like a home away from home.

Kinti Guesthouse is a little paradise and a truly relaxing oasis. From start to finish, I enjoyed every moment of my stay. The atmosphere is very social yet chilled, with kind and easy-going people all around. My room was spacious and super comfortable. The whole team is incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile. A special thanks goes to Esteban, who genuinely cares 100% about the guests and provided me with so many useful tips and answers to all my questions. Breakfast deserves its own highlight: it was hands down the best hostel breakfast I’ve had in South America. Fresh fruit salad every morning and a choice of eggs, bread, or pancakes – all beautifully prepared, high quality, and simply delicious. The location is excellent, just a two-minute walk to the beach and only 10–15 minutes to the main pedestrian area with great restaurants. Several bars and beach clubs nearby also make evenings fun and easy to enjoy. Overall, my stay was absolutely perfect, and I would return anytime. Thank you for everything!

“Amazing”

Everything: amazing breakfast (by far the best I had in a hostel while travelling!) with fresh fruit and every day a different option, freshly prepared. The owners are very friendly and helpful, gave us recommendations for restaurants and a surfing school. Good location close to the beach and the town. Simple but nice room and a very nice chill out area outdoors. They also offer a laundry service in house. If you go to Máncora I highly recommend this place!

We had a lovely stay at Kinti, amazing breakfast, great spacious and comfy room and they were so accomadating with us arriving early from an overnight bus. Denis was so helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay. Thanks for having us!

The owner Dennis and his partner were fantastic hosts who really made us feel like this was home for the duration of our stay here. We were provided with a full run down on the area and things to do on our arrival which was really helpful. The breakfast is among the nicest we have ever had on our travels and it really is cafe quality with the ingredients and the way it is presented. Eating together at the table with the other traveller's led to us meeting some really cool and interesting people in a great environment. The rooms are spotless and the bed was really comfortable. The property is social during the day but really quiet at night which was perfect for us. A stones throw from the beach for when you want a swim to cool down.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kinti and didn’t want to leave! Denis and Jessica were such great hosts. The place is immaculate and they take such care and love over everything. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfasts are incredible (the best we’ve had our whole trip!) and as it’s such a small hostel you get to meet everyone staying there. It’s tucked away on a side street so very quiet but a short walk into the town and so close to the beach. We extended our stay by 2 nights and were so happy we got some extra time there as it was so homely and easily one of our favourite stays in Latin America. We loved hanging out with the cats too! Dennis and Jessica people with big heart sharing their home and make you feel so welcome. They make breakfast themself every morning for the guest and you enjoy it in a big shared table. Very social place but chill would recommend this also for solo travellers definately. Clean chill atmosphere and really liked the house owners they are always there to help but not pushy at all which I myself loved❤️they have exellent knowledge of people and the ability to read the situation. Got the feeling that they do for their passion not over money and they could easily ask more for the accomodation for there I think.
