“The best place to stay in Manorla for sure”

Fantastic location, views, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was amazing.

The terrace had outstanding views, we appreciated that a sun umbrella was delivered the next day after we asked about it.

Views from the terraces are fabulous! Great shower and comfortable bed. It’s a good sized apartment and we enjoyed our stay there. Easy night to get to the train station from there too and we came with cabin luggage only.

That view! Wow, spectacular. I didn’t want to leave the balcony ever. Well worth the many many steps! A perk of staying here was getting the tourist card which allowed us to walk the Via dell’Amore in reverse, and without a booking. It was a beautiful walk to Riomaggiore. I saw a lot of negative reviews about this property and I was worried I had made a mistake, but I think as long as you are prepared in advance, there’s little not to like. Firstly - no, this isn’t a hotel, there is no check in desk. The check in is carefully explained via WhatsApp and was very easy. Replies were always fast and helpful. Yes there are a lot of steps, but it’s the Cinque Terre! How else do you get that view. And no, nothing is included in the price like some other accommodation nearby. Yes it would be nice if it was but I think as long as you know in advance you can arrive prepared. I would happily stay here again.

The apartment is not exposed to the sun, so it stays pleasantly cool even in the heat. Some people mentioned in the reviews that access is difficult, but we found it easily accessible. In Manarola, all the houses are on a slope, so it's normal to walk uphill. There are three paths from the harbor to the apartment: by road, by a walking path (which I recommend – it also offers a nice view), and a shortcut via stairs, which is a bit more demanding.

The most spectacular view, spacious room, great outdoor terrace, fabulous location (albeit tiring to get to after a long day exploring, but all part of the experience!) and helpful staff. We were able to leave our luggage earlier than check in which was really helpful and the manager was helpful and communicative via WhatsApp before our stay.

Modern and clean

I love the location and view points. The room is very nicely decorated in a simple yet Mediterranean vibe and well equipped with water, coffee, dry clothes heater, WiFi . I love the night view, you an hear the ocean waves and starry night when it clear sky.

The apartment was above my expectations. I had read that some people were disappointed about not having the sea view. In order to benefit from the sea view, one must book and pay for the appropriate property! The view was superb, but there was a lot of uphill and stairs to obtain this beautiful view. It was all worth it though. Not for the mobility challenged. Manarola is built on a cliff as are the buildings.
