Gorgeous location, pretty close to the train station and convenient to access othe villages. Surreal view from the windows, sunset orientation and a very comfortable and cozy apartment. Host Gianluca welcomed us at the station which was very helpful, and provided great tips and was there for any questions we had.

The view is amazing. We love the view from our room. The room is big and comfortable. The owner is very friendly. The restaurant named Billy recommended by the owner is good and only 2 mins walk from the property.

Gianluca is a supernice and helpful host! The location is awesome. We loved staying at the little balcony in front of the door.

“A well located apartment in charming Manarola”

This is a nice apartment in a location very close to the train station. It is immaculately clean and compact. I had the apartment with a balcony although it is on the shady side of Manarola. However, the location is otherwise perfect. The views over the hills with the dry stone walls and the singing frogs (!) was very special. Gianluca, as others have commented, is so lovely and made my stay very comfortable, in particular when I came down with a cold and he boosted the heating for me. He also accommodated me in a late checkout. Such a nice man who made my visit feel a little more personal. That sense of being made welcome is as important as the accommodation to the overseas visitor.

Gianluca met us to take us to the apartment. He was super friendly and he provided us info. about Manarola, which was great. He passed on info so we could do the Via Dell’ Amore walk at a cheaper price. He recommended Billy’s Trattoria for dinner, which we managed to get into and it was lovely. Communication with Gianluca was great and the apartment was clean, modern and comfy. Great location.

“Perfect apartment in Manarola, our favourite village in 5 Terre”

The apartment was exactly as described, one large bedroom and comfortable sofabed in living area. Very clean and well kept, good kitchen and bathroom and air conditioning. Nice little outdoor sitting area if you feel like relaxing with aperitivo. Host Gianluca was so kind and gave us lots of great information for our stay. He even helped with our luggage. Perfectly situated in the beautiful village of Manarola. Friendly welcome from Gianluca who couldn’t have been more helpful. Fantastic stay!

Had the best weekend at Appartamenti Da Paulin. The apartment itself is very clean and had everything you would need. The view out to the harbour/coast is absolutely stunning! Perfect location as it was less than a 10 minute walk from the train station. It’s also a quick walk from the apartment to the centre of Manarola where you’ll find the best takeaway pasta near the top of the hill and the best takeaway pizza near the harbour. Gianluca was an amazing host, he helped us out with purchasing the Cinque Terre card, which was definitely worth it for getting the train multiple times throughout our stay and also walking along the Via dell Amore (Lovers Lane) trail between Manarola and Riomaggiore, which we would definitely recommend! If you’re looking for a place to stay in one of the most beautiful places along the Cinque Terre then look no further. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Gianluca for letting us stay in this beautiful apartment, can’t wait to return one day!

Our very friendly host met us as soon as we got off the train and helped us with our luggage to the apartment. The apartment was absolutely stunning with an amazing view over the town and sea. Very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Great location with easy access to the train, walking trails and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again and again!

“Just brilliant - excellent room, location and host.”

The apartment was well located and short walk from the station. Once inside it was really quite and was easy to sleep as it was super cool. The shower was excellent lovely pressure and bathroom was also spacious. The bed was really comfortable. Our host Gianluca was exceptional he went above and beyond with fetching us from the station to assisting with the discounts and tickets for the trains. I would highly recommend this stay. It was beyond perfect.
