Every detail was thoughtfully designed to perfection. The elegant furnishings and stunning interior design made it hard to leave the building, as I wanted to spend every moment relaxing in the suite. I stayed in the Premium Suite.

Despite the challenging situation with the airstrikes, Gordon, Riccardo and their team have been going out of their way to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere. There is many different spaces the hotel creates that can be used to work, relax, read or meet other guests. I will definitely come back!

A welcome change from the large chains. All staff were friendly and attentive to just the right degree. Room was spacious and very clean and well maintained. Do go to the rooftop restaurant, we had breakfast and a late lunch, all entirely delicious and in a very well thought out dining area. The serving staff are amongst the best I have encountered anywhere.

The Merchant House Hotel in Manama continues to be my one and only go to hotel every single time I visit Bahrain and somehow, it just keeps getting better with every stay. Starting with the early check-in, which they graciously accommodated despite my very early flight arrival (something that already sets them apart), to the excellent car valet service that makes arrival and departure completely effortless everything is handled with care, professionalism, and a genuine smile. I always book the Executive Suite, and it never disappoints. The suite is incredibly spacious, elegant, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully prepared. Every detail is taken care of, and honestly, they have a rare ability to make the impossible possible anything you ask for is accommodated seamlessly. What truly makes The Merchant House exceptional, though, is the staff. Warm, friendly, always smiling, and always present. You’re greeted every time you enter or leave, and they genuinely make you feel welcomed and valued, not just as a guest but as someone returning home. The location is perfect right next to the traditional Manama souq, yet tucked away in a calm, stylish setting. And speaking of style, the aesthetic of the hotel is stunning. “Enjoyable to the fullest”

I enjoyed my stay a lot. The experience started with the valley service right in front of the entrance. The Staff at the service desk were extremely professional and helpful. The entire stay was a delight and all the facilities were very beautiful. I enjoyed the Spa and got a massage that felt like the best massage ever. The rooftop restaurant “indigo” had a gorgeous view on the city and the food was ok. I also loved the library area on the mezzanine floor. My favorite thing by far was the room itself which was an executive suite that felt really cozy and luxurious. The whole experience was amazing and I wished the day had more than 24 hours to enjoy my stay even further. The hotel is located next to Bab Albahrain Souq area which is a huge plus.

The location is superb, even super easy for uber drivers to find and arrive to. It’s also surrounded by local inexpensive shops and good restaurants. Absolutely brilliant. Beautiful wall art everywhere.

The location excellent, only feet's away from bab al Bahrain . The staff ( especially reception) very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious.

Everything was great to be honest. Food, staff, cleanliness. The location is very close to the Souq, and is just across the street from The Avenues. Eclectic design sense. Not something everyone would be into but definitely unique. Like an Andy Warhol, pop art design sense, in the public areas. Cool restaurant and terrace on the top floor.

“Wonderful stay in Manama”

- Excellent breakfast. They let you pick four items from their a la carte menu which is a huge amount of food. The quality is high. - Spacious room. The bed is a bit soft for my liking but the sheets are excellent quality. I might have to buy the same brand for my house. - Great location near Bab Al Bahrain - Shower is great. Good water pressure and very hot water. - The art is lovely, you can tell someone put in a lot of effort into making this a beautiful place.
